  “I’ve been to My Thai on John Dalton street numerous times now. The food is always good, quick arriving and really friendly staff who welcome the family dachshund too- he’s been with us on several occasions.”

  “The staff and food here are excellent 2nd visit here and what I have noticed is that there are always Thai customers eating here. That is a good sign to me Tonight I had My Thai Braised Spare Ribs, which were amazing. Soft meat, perfectly cooked that just fell off the bone. Followed that with Sami Pad Kee Mow, chicken with noodles and beans. You need to like it spicy to enjoy the heat of this dish. The staff are attentive and friendly, which helps make the meal more enjoyable. Also in the phots are Corn cakes with sweet chilli sauce, a lovely crispy starter and Chiangmai Kow Soi”

  “My Thai Chiangmai Kow Soi was really tasty and definitely worth the money. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion was satisfying. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience enjoyable. Great food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. Would happily visit again!”

  “The tom kha soup was absolutely delicious! My green curry was really flavoursome. My girlfriend had the mixed meat with rice. It was okay . Lacking that punch of flavour and the fried pork was a bit dry. Service was really friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. We'll be sure to stick to the more "traditional" items on the menu.”

  “Beautiful Thai restaurant, with great food, atmosphere and service. I was really looked after and the food was delicious. They also accommodated my dog. They have one designated table for doggies, which was greatly appreciated!”

  “We came as a group of 7 of us on a Friday night. There was a great selection to chose from on the menu with traditional dishes and some interesting alternatives. Was good that you can make quite a lot of the dishes vegetarian but do ask as some have some have fish stock. Unfortunately the service was pretty slow, took a while to order and a long time to come out. The food was nice but I personally found it a bit greasy although it was nice and hot. Prices were good and about average for the area.”

  “I found this restaurant on a quiet Sunday evening while away on business, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The food was very tasty, with generous portions and great value for money. Friendly service and a relaxed setting made the experience even better.”

  “Lovely authentic Thai restaurant in the city center. Ive been going here for lunches for years, and this time decided to visit on a Thursday night. Food is always decent, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Authentic pad thai, spring rolls and tom yum soup. The place is not 'fancy' - decent value for money. Would highly recommend.”

  “The food and drink are authentic Thai tastes! Appreciate extra Thai spice level when you ask for it. I love chicken cashew nut and som tum. Thai tea is really nice too! Service is superb. They are really helpful and welcoming Highly recommended for a good Thai restaurant that’s not gonna break your wallet”

  “We came here as a big group on a work night out. Nicely decorated restaurant and attentive service. We ordered lots of starters for the table, and I really enjoyed the chicken satay, corn cakes and the crispy tofu. For my main, I got the chicken Bangkok Pad Thai which was really nice. Good portion size with nice flavours and nicely cooked chicken. Only minor issue was I had ordered the crispy chicken, but when they brought the food round and said 'Chicken Pad Thai' I said yes as I hadn't realised there was a non-crispy chicken option. So I ended up with someone else's food and they had my crispy chicken (but by the time we realised we had already started eating) Still enjoyed what I had though. I'll have to come back another day to try the crispy chicken Pad Thai!”
