Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the authentic, properly spicy Thai cooking. Pad Thai is called the highlight of one meal, and pad see ew was eaten so quickly one diner forgot to photograph it. Close behind are the morning glory side dish, pad kee mao, pork kor moo yang jaew and the Thai fish cakes, which one reviewer says tasted like Thailand. Reviewers urge the mango sticky rice and pandan pancake for dessert, and a vegan diner describes incredible options. Several say the market-like decor and Thai music recall trips to Bangkok, and staff are repeatedly called friendly. The spicy margarita, a Siam Southside cocktail and the iced lemon tea also draw praise. The main criticism is uneven service and execution. One diner waited ages for a main while colleagues were already eating, and another found the steamed seabass in lemon broth cold and tepid in parts despite loving its taste. One reviewer also found mobile data did not work inside. Diners also note the dummy cables run overhead for a street-style look.

“Fabulous food! You can sit and watch them working away in the kitchen or just absorb the quirky fun interior. I’ve eaten a lot of thai and this one impressed me with the choice, speed and friendliness of service and quality of food. So good I’m going back for another visit!”

“A feast for the eyes from the outside in! I felt I was snapped into Bangkok the minute I walked in! Colourful and inviting, with lovelyThai music in the background! As such ambiance is a 5+++*! Authentically beautiful! I ordered the Thai fish cakes to start, and while it didn't quite look like those in Thailand, it tasted like it! 4.5* For my main I ordered the steamed seabass lemon broth with herbs and Chinese veg, meant to be 3* spicy. While I loved the taste, I was a tad disappointed that the fish and soup were cold in parts, tepid in other parts, and only hot beneath the fish in the middle of the fish-shaped plate which was sadly disappointing, though I should have sent it back to be heated properly. I didn't eat the rice. As such, for the steamed seabass, it's a 4*. Iced lemon tea was exactly like it was in Bangkok!!! 5* Service was really good! Shame I didn't take the name of the lovely lady that served me. She was brilliant from the moment I walked in to when I left! As such, service is 5+*! One thing I definitely didn't like is that my data did not work in the restaurant and I had to rely on the restaurant's wifi, which is pretty unusual for a restaurant that is not in a basement.”

“Food was really good and delicious. Most of the staff were really nice and friendly. The only disappointing part of the experience was when I asked one of the staff members, who seemed to be a manager, to take a look at a white piece in my rice (possibly a piece of tissue). She didn't apologize or acknowledge the issue and instead acted as if nothing had happened. She did replace the rice, which I appreciated, but the lack of empathy and customer service left a bad impression.”

“This place is so much fun! The atmosphere brings me back to my time in Thailand, feels like you are inside a market. All the food came quickly and was absolutely delicious, can’t wait to come back and try more. Forgot to take a picture of the Pad See Ew because we quickly ate it all, so good!”

“Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had… the morning glory side dish had me sat with my eyes closed in joy. Incredible options for vegans thank you - and properly spicy. Extremely nice staff too.”
