  “I visited this Nando's while travelling from Melbourne to Manchester for an exam. As it was my first time there, I wasn't familiar with the ordering system. After ordering my meal, I went to the self-service area for cutlery and noticed water and peach tea next to it. There were no signs indicating the drinks were for purchase, so I mistakenly assumed they were complimentary and poured a small glass. After taking just two sips, a staff member loudly confronted me in front of other customers, asking if I had paid, and even tried to snatch the glass from my hand. I immediately apologized, explained it was an honest misunderstanding, and offered to pay. The cashier kindly told me not to worry and that payment wasn't necessary. What upset me wasn't the misunderstanding—it was the way I was treated. Being publicly confronted and having my drink taken from me was humiliating and made me feel as though I was being treated like a thief over a simple mistake. A quiet explanation would have resolved the situation respectfully. Clear signs showing that drinks are chargeable and separating them from the cutlery area would help prevent other customers making the same mistake. Most importantly, customers should be treated with dignity and respect, especially when they have made an honest error.”

  “This is my favourite Nandos I have ever been to! Been coming here with my partner almost weekly the past two years, even celebrated my birthday here once. Service is always amazing, everyone is lovely, welcoming and helpful. The food is of course also delicious, chips are warm and chicken is nice and juicy. Honestly have never had a bad experience. Big thanks to our server Sam who reminded me to leave a review!”

  “I think this might be the best Nando’s in the country! The service is exceptional and the food was amazing! I eat in London all the time but I was so impressed by everything!! Best one I’ve had in ages. So good, I came two nights in a row! They are also so thorough with my allergy, they showed me the allergens matrix and ensured I felt comfortable with everything before I ordered. I had James tonight and Aaron the other night! Thank you for looking after me!!”

  “Amazing food and amazing service this evening! Originally a short wait for a table but the staff member at the door was really welcoming and ensured we had menus and a place to sit and wait and got our table ready promptly! Food came out super quick, tasted lovely, fresh and certainly filled us up!! It was brought over by a lovely lady (I think called Sam) who was charismatic, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Give this gal a pay rise she was an icon!”

  “Nando’s at Manchester Spinningfields is one of the best Nando’s locations I’ve visited nationwide and I have been a regular here for several years, the staff are super friendly and work hard to deliver the best possible food and service and the recent refurbishment keeps the restaurant looking modern and fresh, while also remaining comfortable and stylish. My go-to order of a Medium Chicken Butterfly with Peri Chips and Spicy Rice is usually cooked well with lots of flavour. I have also tried other dishes such as the Half Chicken and Boneless Thighs which are a nice alternative if I want to change things up. Portion sizes are usually pretty good. Allergy awareness is very good, even with the regular staff, a manager always takes my order at the counter and ensures everything is wiped down to reduce cross-contamination. I do find it to be a little pricey here with prices increasing a lot over the past couple of years, but it’s no more expensive than any other Nando’s location. I’d also like to see them offer mayonnaise as a sauce again, which was replaced with a vegan alternative.”

  “Arriving at Nando's Spinningfields at 9:55 pm, we were well aware we were cutting it close, as the restaurant was due to close at 10 pm. Despite this, the staff greeted us with a warm welcome and a willingness to serve, which instantly made us feel at ease. The team was incredibly accommodating, patiently explaining the menu options and making recommendations, even though it was nearly closing time. Their professionalism and courtesy were truly commendable, and they didn't rush us at all, which is often a rarity when arriving at a restaurant so late. We decided to try the lemon & herb sauce on our chicken, and it exceeded all expectations. The sauce was a perfect blend of tangy and savory, enhancing the already succulent grilled chicken. The lemon & herb sauce provided a refreshing twist that was both light and flavorful, making it an absolute must-try for anyone visiting Nando's. It paired beautifully with the sides we chose, adding an extra layer of zest to the entire meal. We left Nando's Spinningfields not only satisfied but also impressed by the staff's dedication and their willingness to go the extra mile, made for a memorable evening. We highly recommend this location for anyone seeking great service and delectable food, regardless of the time. The interiors could have been lit well, its a great joint for a take-away.”

  “My friends and I recently enjoyed a delightful evening meal at Nando's. The atmosphere at Nando's was vibrant and welcoming, with a lively ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant was about half full at the time of our meal which provided some peace for us to enjoy the restaurant. My meal was comprised of quarter chicken with PERI-salted chips and Rainbow Slaw. The quarter chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked, boasting a delicious blend of flavours; fries served alongside the chicken were crispy and seasoned to perfection, they provided a satisfying crunch and acted as an excellent side dish to balance out the flavors of the main course; and the Rainbow Slaw was tasty. The variety of mouthwatering sauces allowed me to customize the taste to my liking, complementing the tender meat. I appreciate that the staff took care of us during the visit, ensuring we were comfortable and had all that we desired. We were welcomed and it was a nice touch that they bade us goodbye after our meal.”
