About Lahori Lane - Street Food & Desserts | Drive-thru
Lahori Lane - Street Food & Desserts is a halal Indian restaurant in Manchester built around a drive-thru format, where staff bring a tray of food out to the car. The menu spans samosa chaat, golgappe, and lamb or chicken biryani, alongside dynamite chicken and loaded fries. Mocktails, milkshakes, and juices such as pomegranate and mango masti round out the drinks list. Among the desserts, ice cream is served inside real mango fruit. Waiting periods for food to be prepared or reheated are part of the drive-thru process.

Customer Review Summary
Gol gappe come up most often, with several diners calling them tasty, though one reviewer found the puris store-bought and the pani mostly salty water with cumin. Close behind are the desserts, including vanilla and mango ice cream served inside a real mango, a kunafa milk cake and brownies, plus the og bun kebab, dynamite loaded fries and karak chai. Many describe a welcoming team, with one server singled out repeatedly for friendliness, and a drive-thru that moves quickly. The complaints are specific. Samosa chaat drew two critics, one describing half a samosa buried in chickpeas with no yogurt or chutneys, and an aloo papri with almost no potato. Others report a lamb biryani with a single boti, dynamite chicken that was raw and chewy, an aloo tikki burger that tasted of old oil, and a takeaway bag with no cutlery. One diner received cold food that came back microwaved, hard and chewy, and a young staff member then granted the refund.

“We came to lahori lane, a place i always visit for a good late night craving. Today we were served by a lovely staff named maryam. As a regular customer, all staff are amazing but this particular staff was so professional and lovely. The customer service was immaculate and i had to ask how to leave a review as staff like this need to be praised. The food was 10/10 as always.”
