Customer Review Summary

Diners most often return for the chicken wings and chicken nuggets, with a chocolate brownie, prawns and an apple crumble also singled out, and many describe the variety across cuisines as fresh and flavorful. Close behind is the lively atmosphere and friendly table service, with several praising drinks and paying at the table. Crowding is the recurring complaint: reviewers describe a tight lobby, a narrow passage where customers and staff weave around each other, and plates being passed at peak evening times. One detailed negative reports queues of 20 minutes and then another for the buffet, empty trays, no naan, a closed noodle bar and a greasy floor by the teppanyaki section. Others note no lamb in the curry or roast sections, food that is not always hot, a missing teaspoon for dessert, and a request for water that never arrived. One reviewer suggests more African dishes such as jollof rice and amala, and another asks for clearer halal and vegetarian labels.

“Awful experience from start to finish. We had a booking for my brothers stag do with lots of family and friends. It was embarrassing for the group. And disappointing start to what is supposed to an excited wedding time. Our booking was for yesterday Saturday 7.30pm. We got to the restaurant on time at 7.30. We had to queue for 20mins in a tight lobby area. My uncle who is blind was being moved around and not offered a seat. There was so many people coming and going. It was the tightest lobby area. They even let in people who didnt have a reservation. We then thought we were going up to eat. Wrong. Yet again another queue, we had to queue for 10mins we paid for the meal. Its bad enough having to prepay but all the queues is nonsense. It wasnt until 8pm we sat down and obviously its a buffet so you have to queue again so wasnt until 8.15 I started eating. The food itself was much to be desired. Hardly any indian starters no sheesh kebab, tandoori chicken or chicken tikka. Only one chicken curry, no lamb curry. About a 1/3 of dishes I noticed were empty. So obviously not all the food but lots of it missing. I never saw the crab claws. The make your own noodle bar was closed. This is a problem due to the staff there was only one guy cooking for the whole indian and oriental starter section. Also the food itself wasnt tasty of spicy. Often I noticed there was no naan. So you had to eat what was available and hope next time it was filled up. The area in front of the teppayaki section was greasy the floor. You had to make sure you didnt slip. There was four sections to collect plates from in theory however only one section had plates. Thre sections were empty so when I went to get cavery. I had to walk the length of the restaurant to get to the cavery only to walk all the way to get the plate and walk all yhe way back to the cavery and then walk all the way back to the table . The dessert had no running chocolate fountain. Half thr desserts were sweets and tinned fruit. No real quality. The only thing nice was the cavery although I had to wait for the server to carve the meat. Honestly with the number of people and how tight everything was it felt like being in a circus or theme park jostling for space. I have been to many cosmos in wokverhampton, derby, nottingham etc. never been to one as bad as this or any buffet as bad as this. Really disappointed as I was hoping to take my family there to celebrate my 30th birthday. But I will now no longer be doing so. Hopefully management take this feedback on bosrd and implement changes. For now avoid!”

“I just had a fantastic time at my regular buffet visit! The variety and quality of the food were top-notch—everything was fresh and really hit the spot. I especially loved the chicken nuggets and wings, plus the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. If they could add more African dishes like jollof rice and amala, that'd be amazing! The service was impeccable, making it a truly enjoyable experience.”
