About Wok to Walk
Wok to Walk is a wok restaurant at 61 Deansgate in Manchester, where stir-fries are cooked to order in woks with the chefs visible at the counter. Ordering follows a three-section build-your-own system, so each order starts from a choice of fresh ingredients. The menu also lists Thai Basil Chicken with rice and Pad Thai with prawns, and Duck spring rolls come as a starter. Vegan and vegetarian options sit alongside the meat and seafood dishes. Service is counter-serve in a compact space, and the restaurant opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the made-to-order stir-fries, cooked fresh and served piping hot, with generous portions that several say left enough for the next day. Named dishes include the Thai Basil Chicken with a nice kick, the Pad Thai with prawns, chicken noodles, and chow mein, with duck spring rolls and Dynamite shrimps as starters. Close behind are the cheap, reasonable prices and the friendly, efficient staff, and one reviewer enjoyed watching the chefs work the traditional woks. Another likes the three section ordering system and the many fresh ingredients to choose from. Two reviewers were sharply negative. One, ordering udon noodles with extra beef through a delivery app, describes an unpleasant smell and meat that did not look or taste like beef, and threw the meal away. The other reports undercooked chicken thigh pieces and almost no vegetables in a delivery order. Both complaints concern delivered meals, while the dine-in and takeaway praise centres on food arriving hot and fresh, with leftovers boxed up for later.

“A great takeaway and quick eat in restaurant. The food was light and delicious, the flavours were balanced and it was a great price . I had the chow mein for my main and duck spring rolls and Dynamite shrimps for a starter but I still had some left over so the next day . It was fun to watch the chefs cook and it really gave it that authentic atmosphere, especially with the traditional woks .”

“We ordered the food from this restaurant by UberEat ,absolutely awful. We ordered the udon noodles with extra beef, and it was honestly the worst noodle dish I have ever tasted. The food had an extremely unpleasant smell and was completely inedible. The meat did not look or taste like beef at all, and we could not even identify what it was. We had to throw the whole meal away. A complete waste of money — I would never order from here again.”
