About Dragon palace
Dragon palace is a Chinese takeaway at 291 Middleton Rd in Manchester, where the kitchen cooks food to order. The menu includes halal wings, which gives customers who eat halal a clear choice. Salt and pepper boxes come in two formats, a sharebox and a noodle box, so the order can be built around sharing or around noodles. Singapore noodles are also on the menu. Chicken curry rounds out the savoury dishes.

Customer Review Summary
Salt and pepper dishes draw the most praise. One reviewer calls the salt and pepper box delicious, and another enjoyed a salt and pepper noodle box loaded with prawns in big portions. Close behind are the chowmein noodles, which one diner says nobody else makes the way they like, along with a tasty prawn rice box and a lovely curry. Chips get mixed reactions: crispy outside and well cooked for one reviewer, dry or very salty for others. The complaints carry real weight. A few describe slow or botched orders, including an Uber Eats delivery that arrived hours late after repeated unanswered calls to the shop, and a chicken curry that came with mushrooms despite a request to leave them out. Others fault the food itself: tough grey chicken in a sharebox, bland rice and noodles, tasteless crispy shredded chicken in chilli sauce, and chicken balls with a strong freezer burn taste that earned a refund on Just Eat. One happier customer received extra food as a birthday gesture.

“I have had chinese from here before and it was ok, however this time i was very dissapointed, the won ton soup was ok, but the crispy shredded chicken in chilu sauce was frankly awful, hardly any chili sauce, and therefore tasteless. very dissapointed this time.”

“Ordered via uber eats and was told it would be an hour wait, 2hrs later, still waiting for the food, no answer from the store landline when contacted, on the 4th time when I did get through, I was shouted at because it is “a busy day”. Poor customer service, would never order from there again and would be amazed if they stay open with service like this for much longer, avoid at all costs, save yourself the money and the headache, anywhere would be better than here based on the customer service given and I didn’t get the correct order to top it off - 1/10”
