Customer Review Summary
Salt and pepper dishes come up most, with reviewers praising the chicken, the chips and the ribs, and the sweet and sour chicken, chicken satay, Singapore fried rice and special chow mein close behind. Diners describe generous portions, reasonable prices and food that is fresh, tasty and not greasy, with one calling it restaurant quality. Staff are described as friendly, and one reviewer notes the takeaway is always busy, mostly with local deliveries. A long-standing customer says the place has barely changed over decades, down to the waiting benches. The main complaint concerns delivery: one reviewer waited a long time, was told the driver had run out of petrol, and then found the food soggy and bland on arrival. Another says calls made shortly before the stated closing time went unanswered on several different days. One diner who asked for roast duck and pork fried rice, which was not on the menu, had it made.

“Says they shut at 10 make sure you ring at 9:30 because the 10 o’clock shut time is obviously a lie Just to test this we have rang multiple times numerous in fact and different days at 21:40 exactly and every single time we have never had anyone answer and take our order 😅”

“I've not used Wing Wah for years, I don't know why as it's literally 5 minutes drive from me. But it's going to be my go to place for my Chinese takeaway. The customer service was excellent and the food was awesome and reasonably priced keep up the great standards you've achieved. It's a 5 Star rating from my wife and I.”

“Fantastic food, freshly made. Requested for roast duck and pork fried rice which was not on the menu and they made it for me. My brother had the Singapore fried rice. Also, salt and pepper 🌶 ribs. Enjoyed it all”
