Quick info
About Lynne's kitchen
On Ainsworth Rd in Manchester, Lynne's kitchen is a cafe serving breakfast and lunch to eat in or take away. High chairs at the tables make it workable for families with young children, and the kitchen will substitute items such as sausage on breakfast orders. It opens daily through the day only, and it takes walk-ins rather than bookings, so a table can be hard to come by at busier times. Those who prefer not to wait can order their breakfast or lunch to take away instead.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff are what reviewers raise most at this cafe, with several describing an owner who goes out of his way to cater for any request and a team that is great with kids. Breakfast and lunch, eaten in or taken away, bring people back. One reviewer has gone for years for a fresh daily lunch, and another gets extra items in place of sausage, which a nearby cafe would not offer. New owners and a new name drew praise for outstanding service and food that is still great. The recurring trade-off is how busy it gets, and one couple often drives past and eats elsewhere because they cannot get in. One takeaway customer was disappointed, reporting no greeting, bacon ordered well done but arriving with thick white fat, a sausage bright pink inside, and coffee like hot water. Others describe the food as full of flavour, and one says it comes out exactly as asked every time.

“No hello, no please, no thank you, no smile. Asked for bacon well done, but was with thick white fat all around it. Sausage was bright pink inside and tasted like the chippy sausage. Coffee was like hot water. We took away so we were very disappointed when we discovered it.”
- Ann Martin
“Myself and my husband love this little place the only problem is getting in as it's always busy so we often have to drive past and find somewhere else.”
