  “I will keep it short and to the point , Limbu Pani was pathetic. The kabab roll had too much sauce and a tiny kabab, the Halwa puri and chana well, only thing good was Halwa. Mango lassi was okay, chicken and sweet corn. Well it was pleasure doing business you have lost one customer.”

  “I visited Chaiwala today with my two little children. My children were extremely exited to visit Chaiwala so I made my journey all the way to Manchester Road Bolton. I placed my order at 13:26 and sat down on the table which was a full of rubbish. I requested three different staff in 20 minutes time to clean the table. First time I requested to a young lady who took my order. She told me,'I will send someone to clean it.' The second time I told a young lad who was passing by.Again I got ignored. The third time after waiting nearly half an hour,a young lad cleaned it for me. He thought it was our rubbish as we were waiting for that long. While we were waiting, I noticed more than five families' ordered got served who came after me. My five years old was keep asking about the food as she was very hungry. My children waited patiently for 40 minutes. I was continually telling them that our order is getting prepared. After 40 minutes of wait I got up to check about my food. They started asking each other about the order. They asked me when I ordered. Luckily I had the receipt, I showed them the time of order. They asked me to wait longer. My question is,they were serving people who ordered after me and they were also serving people from drive through.They were only busy for me and my kids. My order wasn't that big. I ordered two kind meal and karak chai. I felt so much upset and disappointed that they have treated me in this manner. I still can't get over of thinking about the treatment we have received. Is it because I was a woman with two young kids? Is it because I was Asian so they thought I don't deserve priority over others? I left the store without any food as my children and I can't wait any longer than that and face more disrespectful behaviour. They have destroyed our mood. I will definitely never visit Chaiwala again.”

  “I went here today the Manchester road, Bolton branch for the very first time and the staff were very unprofessional. I ordered online whilst sat on my table as I had my baby with me who’s 5mths old and I chose table service for my food to be served to my table. The woman shouted my order from the counter I had to go collect it what’s the point having an option if you’re not going to do it. Secondly I had ordered chips with my food but they didn’t serve me any and the woman with the hijab wasn’t polite to me at all she wouldn’t even talk to me properly she was rushing and not listening to me and was making stuff up I was showing her proof but she wouldn’t even look she was just rushing and ran to the back. And carried on serving customers like nothing had happened.The place wasn’t even busy the way she was acting. I then spoke to a lad who was with her at the front, he said let me check receipt he just kept checking on the screen going back and forth and not listening to me either and carried on serving customers.so I left it as my food was getting cold and returned to my table and neither of them came to me to explain what happened or apologise to me I mean I paid for my food and it was only a small portion of chips missing they couldn’t even give me that! I was so close throwing the food away in their face it made me angry. My cousin with me got same food as me they served her the full meal (lunch deal)and the same lady said that was a mistake that she got chips and said let me go speak to someone at the back and she never came back! My cousin had another issue ordering online and the staff didn’t serve her at the counter, we had to figure it out by our selves online.Never coming back to this branch! Rude staff. Bad service. First and last time visiting this place.”

  “Friendly staff and great service. Decent karak chai, and the food was reasonable. The drive-through is a nice addition and makes it very convenient. They should open a drive-through branch in Manchester, it would do serious numbers! I’ve visited several times and will definitely be returning in the future.”

  “£100 PARKING CHARGE, CAR NUMBER PLATE REGISTER SCREEN NOT OBVIOUS Sad to do this but I couldn't not leave a review as I noticed other customers have had the same issue and nothing has changed. I noticed the team have replied back on a recent review about a parking charge that the 'team should have been more helpful' resolving the issue but when I visited the store to see what help they could give they said they couldn't give any help. Despite people getting parking charges the store has continued to keep the parking register screen in the same position - in a corner which is away from the front door and not near the till and is actually not visible unless someone walks that way. Surely this needs to be addressed - they said in a previous review they would 'address both the parking communication and staff training' but i cannot see anything has changed. The signage outside is not obvious and I couldn't see signs advising to register for parking in the store. I have shared a photo of the location of the parking register screen which is mostly hidden at the side. No one would walk that way unless they are sitting near there.”

  “A disappointing visit. Karak chai was cold. The cake was stale n old, not fresh. So many cinnamon in just one cup. Overall very disappointing experience. Not going there. So many other chai spots can be explored. Chaiwala brand need to think about quality vs the number of outlets.”

  “A really lovely spot to relax and unwind! This tea place offers a great variety of food and drinks, so there’s something for everyone—whether you’re in the mood for a light snack or a proper meal alongside your tea. What really stands out is the spacious setting. The premises are quite large, giving you plenty of room to sit comfortably without feeling crowded. which makes it perfect on a nice day  enjoy your tea/breakfast and have a good chat with friends or family or also perfect for couple too.the around area is also really nice.theres plenty of parking too so you can enjoy your tea/ snacks in car too. The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a great place not just for a quick visit but also for spending quality time. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for good tea, variety in food, and a relaxed environment to hang out.”

  “We ordered the chana with rice and there were around 15 chickpeas. The rest was mostly rice and a limp salad. We just threw it in the bin, couldn't bare to try it as it was very pale and odd in texture. Waste of almost £9. Won't be going back here again.”

  “Very fresh and tasty food. I had chicken Biriani. The place was spotless and there was lots of choice. I'd definitely eat there agsin. The young man serving needs to put a smile on his face though!”

  “Visited at 20:11pm on 05/10/25 through drive thru - served by an asian girl in a headscarf She cannot handle pressure, her customer service is none existent - dropped the tea from the drive thru as she was rushing. Processed a refund for me and I will not be visiting again. Management: this is how you lose loyal customers! Customer Service is critical! No hello no nothing just puts card machine in your face, rushes and drops the tea! Wanted their names to complain directly but they refused.”
