Quick info
About Kings Cafe
Kings Cafe is a small, no-frills cafe in Manchester that runs along old school lines as a traditional British breakfast spot. The kitchen centres on the full breakfast, served in hearty portions with a cup of tea alongside. The setting is compact and plain, so the focus stays on the plate. The cafe sits a short walk from the tram and bus station, which puts it within easy reach of anyone arriving in the city by public transport.

Customer Review Summary
The full breakfast is what reviewers return to most, described as a traditional, old school British cafe breakfast with good portions and hearty plates. Value for money comes up repeatedly. One tourist says prices run about a third of what city centre spots charge while the food is just as good or better, and another calls it the best value cafe in Manchester. Several reviewers describe the staff as friendly and great, and one notes the small, no frills cafe is a short walk from the tram and bus station. The downsides are minor but specific. One reviewer calls the decor tired and describes the place as a haunt for local people, and another says the only problem is that getting a seat is difficult. One first-time visitor who calls themselves fussy had a large breakfast with a cup of tea and said it beats Weatherspoons hands down.
