About Phoenix Cafe
Phoenix Cafe is a small cafe in Manchester serving breakfast and lunch. The cafe menu covers a full English breakfast and pancakes. Pizzas join the menu between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. only, so the oven is a lunch and afternoon option rather than an all-day one. The Romana pizza comes on a thin, crispy dough with plenty of toppings, and the seafood pizza is also on the list. The tables work for anyone settling in with a laptop.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most praise at this cafe, with reviewers singling out the Romana for its thin, crispy base and generous toppings, the seafood pizza as delicious, and the Walezia as a personal favourite. Close behind are the milkshakes, where the banana one gets a shout and one reviewer calls them thick enough to last a while. The full English, pancakes with bacon, cappuccino, toasties and iced coffee also come up. Several describe food made fresh, friendly service and low prices for the quality, and one mentions tables that suit laptop work. The recurring caveats are small: pizzas can only be ordered in the afternoon, one reviewer found the milkshakes expensive, and a large pre-order of pizzas for a work lunch arrived not as warm as hoped, which that reviewer put down to the volume ordered at once. Even so, that same group came away wanting a full seafood pizza next time, and a regular says he tries a new milkshake flavour on every visit.

“Me and my boyfriend love coming here whenever we get a chance to it's amazing! My boyfriend has been coming here since he was a child and always told me about how amazing the food and the milkshakes are and when he finally got to show me I couldn't agree more. The food is amazing every single time and I can't get enough of the milkshakes especially the banana one! His favourite order is always a full English and he always gets a new flavour of milkshake every visit because he can't decide on a favourite one! The pizza is fantastic, especially the topping! You can actually taste what you are eating. The atmosphere is unreal.Highly recommend!”

“To be honest, this guy makes freaking good pizza. Romana was simply delicious. Thin and crispy dough and lots of toppings. The only downside is that pizzas can only be ordered between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. But on the other hand, the price of the pizza is very low considering its high quality.”
