Customer Review Summary
Reviewers tie the Red Café closely to the stadium tour, and the food they name most is the burger, pizza and fish and chips: one praises the double burger, another the fish and chips as generously portioned, and another the pizza, though only one size is offered. Close behind are the sticky finger wrap and the beef chilli nachos. The atmosphere draws praise for the Manchester United memorabilia, chairs printed with players' names and a real football table. Service splits the reviews. Several describe cheerful staff who handled gluten free requests, set up a child's birthday table and gave free gifts to children. Others report a server who ignored a table, a long wait for anyone to come over, and staff who seemed unhappy to be there. One diner was refused a Fanta, then saw the next table served one. Food complaints include an unseasoned pasta, a sold out all day breakfast, and plates left unfinished by other customers. Several note the space is large and connects to the museum.

“We visited the Red Cafe on 4th June 2026. Our friends were visiting from America and their son aged 11 is a huge Manchester United fan, as this was his first trip to England we couldn't let the opportunity pass without a visit to the stadium. From the shop to the cafe to the stadium staff, you truly made this boy's visit a once in a lifetime experience and we can't thank you enough. At times he was completely overwhelmed by the kindness and attention he received. Particular mentions go to Ali our server in the Red Cafe, he went above and beyond anything we expected, friendly, helpful (2 of our party of 7 are gluten free) knowledgeable and entertaining all at the same time. To Hayley and Tom, thank you for what you did, words can not express how much it meant.”

“Red Café at Old Trafford. The experience truly exceeded my expectations and served as the perfect conclusion to the stadium tour. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I particularly enjoyed the Manchester United memorabilia and the artwork featuring Sir Bobby Charlton. Regarding the dining experience, the meal was excellent; I would highly recommend the fish and chips, which were perfectly prepared and generously portioned. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, which greatly enhanced the visit. The Red Café truly embodies the spirit of the club, and I will certainly be recommending it to others as a must-visit destination at Old Trafford.”

“We were very hungry after touring Old Trafford. My son wanted to order a breakfast item from the menu that said “all day breakfast” but we were told the breakfast was sold out. What we ordered was good. I personally ordered the sticky finger wrap and I thought it was delicious. The atmosphere is awesome, being at Old Trafford. It was a fun experience.”

“Visited the Red Café at Old Trafford and had a great experience. The atmosphere is perfect for football fans, with amazing views and a real match-day feel even when there isn’t a game on. The food was fresh, well-presented, and reasonably priced for a stadium venue. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely worth stopping by whether you’re touring the stadium or just looking for a nice café spot in Manchester.”

“Great service, nice interior and atmosphere. Standard tasting food, my pasta was not seasoned at all. I’m not one to add salt/pepper to cooked food, but I had no choice since it was so bland. I noticed how alot of the customers didn’t finish their food either. However, the staff are cheerful and extend free gifts to the children making them happy!”
