  “Staff are friendly, salon is clean and my nails are fine. But I have short square with french tip that took 50 minutes. And it was £46? On my booking confirmation it said £36. When I asked about this it was explained that because I selected clear acrylic and not gel acrylic that adds £10… (I also paid by card which added £2 the staff did explain this however and I agreed) Don’t want to come across as slandering the business , but seems very unfairly and inconsistently priced.”

  “Overall okay service. Got manicure with French tips for £41. In manicure they soak your hand in warm water, shape nails and cut cuticles. Unfortunately my skin got badly cut by cuticle cutter as she went too far, the staff member was very apologetic but it did hurt quite a lot and is bleeding still after the appointment.”

  “Lina did a fantastic job with my holiday nails, I came in and asked for a simple French tip with extension and she did well. The shape is perfect and really suits the shape of my hand. No complaints!”

  “Crazy high extra fee for card payment and very bad experience. Went in to remove gel nail, although price list says £10 they claimed that the type of gel nail I got need additional treatment so I should pay £13. Then at the till they asked if I am a student, yet did not give me the 10% student discount and insisted on £13 payment. I’ve always used the same gel nail and at other salon they charge only £10 for removal. Also no matter how much you paid by card they asked for additional £2 service charge, which is highly illegal. Normal retailers pay up to 3% card transaction fee, in my case they are asking customers to cover for 15% and they don’t even allow bank transfer. I don’t know why they have not been reported to trading standards yet.”

  “went on a sunday as everywhere else was closed. will not be returning. cuticules obliterated and nail design no where near what i asked for, she rushed and i felt pressured to be agreeable. rushing when theres 3 other people in? and £55 is unacceptable for poor nails, poor design and came off in 9 days. do not go! ive attached pics of inspo vs reality lol. if you value your time,money and good nails, do not go here!”

  “I came in this morning with an idea of what I wanted and a sketch I made last night. They never fail me I have been going to ivy nails for a year and this time was no exception. Fantastic work and I now have this beautiful butterfly design I walled in with masterfully on my nails. Meticulous and I didn’t feel rushed in anyway. @ivynails on insta for the pictures or there work. Thank you so much I love them.”

  “This was my first time trying this nail salon for acrylics, and it was a good experience. The staff were welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight away. The appointment took a bit longer than I expected, but they clearly took their time to make sure everything looked right. I’m really happy with the final result. The acrylics look neat and the length is exactly what I asked for. They feel sturdy and well done, and the finish is really glossy. I’d definitely book here again.”

  “Rang beforehand to see if the accepted walk-in and they do. Once I arrived I was seated and within minutes my nails were started. I was asked about the shape and design I wanted. I had a guy he was very nice. He did mention that there was an extra charge for my selected design and length I think £3 per nail. Overall I was happy with the finished result.”
