  “Had a lovely mani/pedi from Maisie over a couple of days. Felt girly when I hadn’t for such a long time and the music was on point and I felt comfortable enough to just sing along. Was offered a drink after my manicure, the ladies are lovely and the vibe of the place is chilled and cute and dim. Could chat with the other customers too as I went alone, had some guys in there as well and it felt nice to be in a place that gets the job done and is nice to their customers without judgement or insecurity. I’m an introvert too so sometimes I just want to be quiet and watch them do their magic which is very satisfying. Highly recommend. Easy location in NQ/Piccadilly area too so it’s easy to get transport and there are hotels etc nearby. They offer Blue Light discount too which is nice :) need to book back in for a full deep massage as I train a lot too. Can’t wait! :D”

  “Attended for Elemis Express Facial and the returned for lash lift and dye. The facial left my skin feeling beautiful, dewy and refreshed, and was given some great advice about caring for my specific skin concerns post facial, and day-to-day maintenance at home. The lash lift looks gorgeous and I no longer need to wear mascara for the next month and a bit! Great work team!”

  “I recently had a pedicure here and, overall, I found the staff to be friendly. However, I was left feeling a bit disappointed with the service. The main reason I booked the pedicure was for the foot care and detailed nail prep (cuticle removal, dead skin removal, scrubbing, etc.), and I didn't feel that these aspects were as thorough as I had expected for the price (£36). The cuticle work felt rushed, particularly around the sides of the nails, and there was still visible cuticle buildup afterwards. I was also surprised by how quickly the prep portion of the treatment was completed. It took less than 10 minutes to clean the cuticles, shape the nails, file the soles of my feet, and apply a scrub. In my experience, similar services at other salons in the same price range usually take closer to 30 minutes. As a result, my feet honestly looked very similar to how they did before the appointment. The service description mentioned foot scrub and hard skin removal, but my heels still felt rough afterwards, and I didn't notice a significant difference. I had also asked for square-shaped nails, but some of them appeared more rounded and uneven than expected. The polish application was another disappointment. The white polish looked streaky once it had fully dried, and I was surprised that a base coat did not appear to be used. I left feeling as though I would need to tidy up parts of the pedicure myself at home, particularly the cuticle cleanup and dead skin removal. I don't think this is a bad salon, and I can understand why many people leave positive reviews based on the ambience and the friendliness of the staff. However, if you're specifically looking for detailed cuticle work and thorough foot care rather than mainly the polish application, this service may not fully meet your expectations.”

  “⸻ I recently visited Beauty and Bubbles for waxing on my abdomen, chest, and back, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish. As a male client, it’s always nice to feel comfortable and welcomed when going in for treatments like this, and that’s exactly how I felt the moment I arrived. I was greeted warmly at reception and immediately offered a drink, which was such a lovely touch and set the tone for the appointment straight away. The customer service was excellent from the very beginning — friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I was then greeted by the manager, who carried out my waxing treatment, and she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole appointment. Her manner was warm, professional, and friendly, and the conversation flowed so naturally that the time went by so quickly. We chatted all the way through, which really helped make the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. The treatment itself was done to a very high standard, and I was really impressed with both the care and professionalism shown throughout. It’s clear that customer comfort and service are a real priority here, and that makes such a difference. I would highly recommend Beauty and Bubbles to anyone considering waxing treatments, especially if you’re a male client looking for somewhere you can feel comfortable, looked after, and in very capable hands. It was such a positive experience that I’ve already booked my next waxing appointment, and I’ll definitely be returning.”

  “Finding a salon that doesn’t feel awkward for men can be hard but the ladies in this place put you at ease from the first moment. They listen to what you want and need and are so friendly! Especially love the way Amy-Lois sorted my brows - well shaped but masculine still and kept my natural arch. Great colour too. Will def be a regular! They also do amazing facials which are so relaxing!”
