About The Bank
The Bank is a pub at 57 Mosley St in Manchester, set in a large, stately building with a variety of seating options, including seats facing the street. The food menu centres on pies, among them chicken and leek and a festive three bird pie, served with mash, carrots and gravy. Fish and chips comes as Nicholson's Ocean fish and chips with mushy peas, and a large size of two pieces is available. The drinks menu covers beers, ales and gins. Inside, the pub is air-conditioned, and the team brings water to the table and checks on tables during the meal.

Customer Review Summary
Fish and chips is the dish reviewers return to most, with one praising the super crispy batter and well cooked fish and another calling the portion substantial, though the mushy peas were a tad small. Close behind are the pies. A chicken and leek pie is called delicious, and a festive three bird pie had a very tasty filling but a slightly stiff crust. One reviewer wanted the mash and carrots presented more nicely. Others single out a large, flavoursome burger, a buttermilk chicken sandwich, creamy garlic mushrooms on toast and a chicken Caesar salad. Drinkers mention a good selection of beers, ales and gins, a spritz and a ginger beer with lime. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, with servers helping with allergies and looking after a toddler. Reviewers also describe an air-conditioned, lively room in a stunning building, with outside seating facing the street. When one Sunday roast beef came out a bit fatty, staff brought a fresh plate of meat and a complimentary drink.

“One of the best bars my friends and I have been to. The prices were very reasonable, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Everything was quick and efficient, which kept the night flowing perfectly. The food was also great, and I'd definitely recommend ordering something to eat if you're visiting. The venue seemed suitable for groups of all sizes, with a variety of seating options available. The noise level struck the perfect balance—it created a lively atmosphere without making it difficult to have a conversation with friends. A special mention goes to Harry, who looked after us and provided outstanding service. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. Highly recommend this place—we'll definitely be back!”

“Really enjoyed our time at The Bank! We had a drink and a family meal. As soon as we walked in the staff were welcoming and friendly. The front of house looked after us and our toddler exceptionally well. Tom and Omar are a credit to this pub and we would definitely recommend this for families and anyone looking for a decent meal! We had the chicken and leek pie which was delicious the carrots were very tasty! And the Nicholson’s burger was large and very flavoursome. You will not be disappointed!”

“We had a fantastic experience at The Bank, the staff are very friendly and attentive. During such heat this week, the inside was lovely and air-conditioned. But it also had a nice selection of outside seating facing the street. We ordered from the sandwich menu, selecting the buttermilk Chicken sandwich and fries, and the chicken Ceaser Salad they were lush. We asked for water to the table which was brought over to us. And it wasnt just us, we saw the team looking after the tables around us. They have a great selection of beer and ales and gins too. But we decided to try a Spritz from the drinks menu. I'd highly recommend a visit, it's a little oasis in Manchester.”

“I visited The Bank before a theatre show with a friend. It had been recommended to us. It's a classic pub but in a stunning building. I ordered the Nicholson's Ocean fish and chips, it was a substantial portion. Great value and very tasty, friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely be visiting again.”
