  “After spending so much is one thing the prices are absolutely ridiculous and second of all! What the hell is going on with the food. Strip and chips had old chips with sooooo much garlic sauce it was drowning absolutely zero salad on top. The cucumber on the donner wrap *given in a pitta bread not wrap* was completely off and led to a bad stomach Everyone is feeling unwell after eating from this restaurant! Yes it used to be good. However definitely not anymore. Do not order from here. Awful.”

  “I went here after years but walked straight out after looking at the prices. I honestly cant believe how expensive they are. You can get same food and quality a lot cheaper from other places. Chicken burger meal for £9? Really…”

  “What can I say? One of the best fast food places in Luton, heck probably the best. Strips and chips paired with the cold Rubicon Mango is a must try! Will be returning again.”

  “I ordered chicken wings and they were the worst I’ve ever had. They were dry, overcooked and tasteless. Hard and like they’d been refried from the day before. I had to throw the entire box of wings they were that bad. Please either get rid of your chicken wings or make them properly. It’s a shame because your burgers are quite nice.”

  “Absolute rip off. Let me explain how, I bought three piece chicken and chips for £9.00 and literally chicken piece were made out of baby chicken I mean so small and a portion of chips with pinch of salt absolute garbage. Don’t understand the price. One more thing, a can of pepsi max for £1.50 when on local grocery shop its between 75p-95p. You should reconsider your prices otherwise I will take it further and launch official complain in the council. Your prices are not justified even if you think you are selling your secret recipe by the way its not something gaga. .”

  “Best Fried Chicken in the UK Worth Every Mile I literally drive all the way from North West London to Luton every single week just for Lemon Chicken. That alone should tell you everything. This is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The flavour, the crunch, the juiciness is unmatched. You can taste the quality in every bite. Nothing in London even comes close. Even though it’s one of the busiest shops in town, the service is fast, friendly and always professional, and the cleanliness is top notch. Everything is always spotless and well run, which just adds to the whole experience. The chicken is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The lemon flavour is next level bold, clean and addictive. Once you try it, you’re hooked for life. I don’t go anywhere else for fried chicken anymore. Lemon Chicken isn’t just a takeaway it’s a destination. If you’re serious about food, you need to try this place.”

  “I have ordered many times from them up until now but thinking of changing the venue for a number of reasons. In the beginning their burgers use to be juicy with well grilled chicken although recently there has been a huge decline flavor wise. Also they are never accurate on their timeframe for the orders its always 20,25 minutes and when you go there after 20 minutes you have to wait for another at least 10,15. Ordered pizzas for my kids and particularly articulated not to be spicy well guess what it was spicy. Besided their menues use to be 6.50£ now they are 9£ which for the flavour and taste of the food is now of satisfactory quality. Much better venues out there for less price and much better quality food.”

  “When I see high ratings in a Fried Chicken shop I usually order hotwings and chips, firstly because I enjoy it and secondly because it's a worthy litmus test between the competition. Each chicken shop can differentiate their brand based on their fried chicken/wings quality and taste. The shop's called Krispy Lemon Chicken, so you'd expect - in the least - fresh wings prepped with spice mix from the supplier and cooked in a chicken pressure cooker. I really didn't expect anything amazing, just basic hotwings from a chicken shop. I know many places in London that use their own spice mix that delivers a unique taste. Unfortunately, this basic expectation fell flat. These are definitely not hotwings from a conventional Fried Chicken shop but are what seems to be frozen wings you buy and deep fry in oil or air fry at home. This is the same 'hotwings' you get from Fish & Chip shops or Pizza shops who offer it as supplimentary to their main food items. Very dissapointed in the wings, feels like eating cardboard, full of chicken batter no taste. Btw I am more shocked with the amount of 5 star reviews and people saying its the best chicken and chips shop in Luton. I found another reviewer talking about the same hotwings issue! You can't really be a chicken shop if you buy frozen wings in a bag, fry and sell it. Come on guys, take this constructive critism and feedback and make some changes.”
