  “East Is West Address:10 Marsh Rd, Luton LU3 2NH ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at East Is West and left with mixed feelings, ultimately giving it a solid 4-star rating! As I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor is inviting and beautifully crafted, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. However, I found the food to be somewhat mediocre, with room for improvement. I decided to try the mixed grill, which was advertised as being able to serve multiple people. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite small for the number of people it claimed to feed, featuring only one piece of fish on top, which left us wanting more. While the flavors were decent, they didn’t quite live up to my expectations. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the overall experience. The parking situation was also surprisingly convenient, which is a huge plus in the Luton area. Despite the food not hitting the mark as I had hoped, I appreciate the friendly service and lovely atmosphere, which is why I feel compelled to give East Is West a solid 4 stars. With a few tweaks to their menu and portion sizes, and prices this place has the potential to be a real gem!”

  “I visited East Is West for the very first time 11/05/2026 for some dinner, and I was very impressed with the overall experience. Firstly, the quality and flavour of the food was excellent, very traditional Lamb Karahi, cooked in medium spice, and the meat was very tender. The naan was cooked to perfection, just the way I personally love them, soft, not overly thick, with a very subtle crispy underneath. Full salad was very clean and fresh, then the meal was concluded nicely with a Ferrero milkshake. I found the staff to very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. Finally, the vibe and feel I had while sitting down was very nice, I felt relaxed, a big contributing factor to that is because East Is West is kept clean and is well maintained. If you haven't been here, I fully recommend that you do so, either on your own, with friends or family. I hope the standards that I've experienced can be maintained, if they can, then I will definitely be a regular customer.”

  “Came here for dinner and I was so impressed. The vibe is nice, aesthetic, family friendly. We got a mixed grill, dynamite prawns & chicken Karachi. Everything was so good, we also got mocktails and the pina colada was yum! I’d recommend & will be back”

  “Came across this restaurant while travelling. We arrived super late close to midnight, there was nobody else there. The waitress was super welcoming and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, honestly we were so pleasantly surprised at the great quality of the food. And the service. We got the meat Seekh kebabs and the meat khari. Couldn’t praise the restaurant and the staff enough. I would highly recommend. If you’re wondering whether to take a chance and try out this restaurant I’d say go for it!”

  “I had an amazing experience east is west last night. The dinner was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb charsi karahi — it was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I truly enjoyed every bite! The drinks were outstanding and very refreshing, and I must say the presentation of both the food and drinks was beautiful and very impressive. It really added to the overall experience. The service was also excellent — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, wonderful drinks, and a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely be coming back again!”

  “DO NOT GO HERE. Came here with my wife and daughter and got a mixed grill and a chicken burger meal. They served the mixed grill with chips only and upon serving the waitress apologised that there was no rice. I was shocked at this point and could not refuse the food at my shock at the service. The waitress also said that the gas has been shut down so there are no curries. I stopped eating to write this review and asked the waitress to pack the meat for takeaway. I am really disappointed especially because all other reviews are really good I was expecting something half decent to enjoy with my family.”

  “I recently visited East is West in Luton and was genuinely surprised by the quality of their buffet. Although the buffet doesn’t have a huge number of dishes, every single item they serve is top quality and easily matches the standard of some of the best five-star buffet restaurants in the UK. They keep the selection focused, but what they offer is done exceptionally well. There was a beautifully cooked lamb dish, a rich curry, a tender chicken handi dish, and a delicious dall that was full of flavour. On top of that, there were plenty of starters, including excellent lamb chops and chicken samosas. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly prepared with care. What impressed me most was the quality over quantity approach. Instead of overwhelming you with dozens of average dishes, they focus on a smaller selection but execute each one to a very high standard. The service was also fantastic. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They even managed to fit us in at the last minute, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Keep up the good work — I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.”

  “We called in before going. The food was a hit and miss. To begin with they didn’t have some of the items on the menu which they only knew after taking the order. The service was not up to the mark. They didn’t even know what orders they were bringing to the table kept looking for us to figure it out. With their long nails one couldn’t handle the food and spilt on the table too. The service was 45 min wait for the food and even if it was not crazy busy. The steaks were a bit burned, dry and tasteless, the peppercorn sauce was not good at all. It was quite expensive but did not live up to the expectations. The grill platter was tasty and chicken Parma was good. Overall not very pleasant experience. Maybe we chose a bad day they seemed like understaffed.”

  “Over priced, small portion and slow service. Menu charged us for 300g steak but they were apparently small and mediocre. The waitress wasn't familiar with the menu she had no Idea what she was serving. Waste of money Going there.”

  “We had an amazing experience at East is West ! The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered large platter which was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Lamb karahi and daal channa was outstanding.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their customers. We’ ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience.”
