  “Small portions and incorrect orders on multiple orders. To start with some negatives. It has been several times now that I have asked to change my mega platter strips to all wings and they keep sending me strips which is annoying because nobody eats their strips it’s super dry and hard to eat as their chicken breast is so overcooked. I ordered their large donner portion several times now and I get like 4 or 5 strands of pathetic thin donner strips. The portion is ridiculous. However Their flavours and chips they get right which is good. I love how they give fresh hot chips with every meal. Their sauces are great. Please improve your portions.”

  “We recently visited Peri Peri Original and ordered the mixed platter, which included a whole chicken, 5 wings, 5 strips, 2 large sides, and 3 sauces — all for £23.99. Honestly, the value for money is outstanding for the amount of food you get. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality in the seasoning and the way it’s cooked — not dry at all, just perfectly tender and well-marinated. Everything on the platter was well-prepared and satisfying, and the sauces added a great extra layer of flavour. What really stands out about this place is the consistency. Every time we come here, the quality of the food and the service is always on point. The staff are friendly, efficient, and make the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Peri Peri Original is a reliable go-to spot for great-tasting chicken at a very reasonable price. Consistent quality, generous portions, and good service — highly recommended.”

  “Luton’s highlight peri peri takeaway. Always love the food. Have been to this place many times and will go again and again. Couple of down aides. 1- find a parking space is always a mission. There’s no parking around. 2- staff on the tills young guys are not very polite or friendly at all. You don’t feel very welcomed but hey good food so here we go again. 3- they take only cash so no card payments”

  “Tried this place for the first time in February 2025 on the back of a recommendation from a friend (thanks Nazam). The food is freshly cooked and tastes delicious. The place benefits from seating upstairs and downstairs and is clean. There is a sauce table upstairs and the decor is good quality. The menu is clear to understand- less is often more !! I ordered the breast burger and the lamb kofta. The fact they serve the food in proper plates with cutlery is game changing.”

  “The best peri peri in Uk I have tried ! Good Food quality with best in taste and on top with such an amazing portion size which you will hardly find it in UK. The prices are also very reasonable. I believe when it’s comes to peri peri this is the Best place to eat. We always ordered Peri peri chicken platter side with rice 10/10 Lamb kofta burger 10/10 Chicken pasta 8/10”

  “Hands down the best peri peri I’ve had in a while. Portions were great for the fair prices. The staff were very friendly. It was super clean,every other second there was a lady wiping off the tables. Would definitely come back soon. Edited 28/05/25 I visited here again for the mini platter it was an absolute pleasure. I also tried their kebab wrap which was heavenly, just the perfect blend of flavors and texture. Love it love it 😋😋😋🥰”

  “Food was nice but extremely spicy, their hot flavour is extremely hot, I've had spicy food all my life but this was next level. Quite busy place, limited parking off road.”

  “Very tasty delicious food. We got the mega platte and 8 of us ate and we were full! The portion was enough for all of us. The price is unbelievable cheap I would definitely recommend. The food came quick there was not much waiting time although it was quite busy. Parking is right in front of the shop. It was amazing experience and I would visit the restaurant again. Food and price and customer service was super nice.”
