  “A busy, no-frills place with genuinely nice food, particularly the Vietnamese side of the menu. There are some really interesting flavour combinations, with touches of sweetness and plenty going on, but the dishes remain balanced and well judged. Service can be a little chaotic when things get busy, but it’s always friendly, genuine and generally very efficient. A really impressive place overall, with food that makes it well worth returning for.”

  “I eat here once a week, or more. It's real honest delicious food, affordable enough to have become a great option when I cba to cook. Fresh and delicious. The broth is insane, and the ban cuon too. Usuals for me and bf are the Nom salad and ban cuon to share as starters, then Pho or Bun with pork and vermicelli (insane), cashew chicken is amazing too. Nice people, so many vietnamese people eating there tells me its authentic. Not on deliveroo which is good, happy for them, and happy to have been supporting this family run restaurant for years now 🥢 Also decent veggie options, lots of tofu and veg / mushroom based things.”

  “My most-visited restaurant in Camberwell. I’ve had the duck pho more than ten times. Highly recommend the carrot juice too. The owners are so kind.”

  “Honestly the nicest people, and the best food. The banh guon is the best in London/ Australia. Other dishes are also really great! We had a cake and they gave us a candle, the service is top notch and so generous with the servings I’ve been so many times since visiting Many gluten free options too!”

  “If you want comfort food and no fuss, this is the place. It’s not most aesthetically pleasing but good food and very reasonable price for these days and age. It becomes my weekly Monday dinner out lately.”

  “A local authentic and totally unpretentious Vietnamese Chinese restaurant that always delivers. Don’t expect anything fancy but if you are in Camberwell and up for an Asian fix then this family run restaurant will tick all your boxes. I had a delicious fried rice with duck for £9.50. Great value for a plate of food that is cooked with love. 5 stars for me”

  “Great tasting, freshly made Chinese food. Those who have been following me know that I don't give 5 star reviews but this is a gem in Camberwell. I will take my wife there when she gets back. Staff is very friendly. My uncle and I had 5 kettles of their chinese tea. Very very good tea I must say.”

  “Really cozy family atmosphere! Vietnamese dishes are the highlight!! The Bánh cuốn are my favourite and the beef stew tender and lovely with spices, loved the cinnamon notes. Also the bún platters on the other tables looked amazing! The phos also looked like they were worth another visit. Vietnamese dishes not greasy at all, fresh, vibrant, carefully put together. Also the staff were really lovely, not obsequious but casual and warm, guiding suggestions through the extensive menu. Will absolutely return, and would definitely recommend ☺️”

  “This place is lovely! The food is so tatsy I felt so much comfort eating here, I really can't fault the tatse and portions. Look good too little slow but I actually like they cook the food well. However for me personally because I have sensory issues it can get a little overwhelming loud ect, esp if there's a dinner party, but that's nothing to some. The staff are friendly and efficient, had no issues here.”
