About PHO S82
PHO S82 is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant at 10 Little Turnstile in London, built around pho. The beef pho comes with rare and cooked beef and brisket, and a spicy pho option sits alongside it. Chilli, sriracha and hoisin arrive on the side for dipping. Banh mi and chicken curry with rice fill out the menu, with iced lemonade to drink. Food is made fresh, so a short wait is common at busy times. The space is small, with a couple of tables and a window bar, and this counter-style setup carries a 12.5% charge for dining in, which is waived when you pay cash. The restaurant opens Monday to Saturday and closes on Sundays.

“The most incredible pho in the heart of london! As if I had travelled back to vietnam, highly recommend for anyone looking for a new lunch spot. With gardens just a short walk away you just can’t complain about this spot”

“Was lovely, I have been coming here for the past year and it never disappoints. Since they're family owned and are doing everything fresh, you can expect a 10-15 min waiting time, so go during off peak times”

“I had the chicken curry with rice and an iced lemonade! The chicken curry was homely and tasteful and the lemonade was perfect and not too sweet! It’s a small place and a little cramped but the food makes up for it!”

“The bad reviews about the unpleasant clerk weren't exaggerated. Most unpleasant experience in London and I'm weighing reporting this restaurant to the FSA. My wife is celiac, and asking any questions about the menu were met with hostility. No idea how a place like this stays open or why people put up with this attitude. This clerk does not belong at the till. We left after ordering. Since the food hadn't come out, he refunded us after a heated exchange. Avoid this place. EDIT: The length the owner has gone to defend this employee is shameful. He was impatient and rude to every single person that walked in (he snapped at two young ladies who asked about stir-fry and the type of noodle that was used), including my wife, who simply asked about gluten. I jumped in only after we sat down and tried to ask another simple question. I'd seen enough and challenged him about his treatment of people with celiac disease. And I hope those reading this will take note. The reviews from other customers about this gentleman are true.”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return above all for the beef pho, praising a rich, fragrant broth, generous beef, tender brisket and barely cooked rare beef. One first-timer got the Rare and Cooked Beef Pho and liked dipping the beef in sriracha, while another diner tried the spicy version and enjoyed it. Close behind, a reviewer enjoyed the chicken curry with rice and a not-too-sweet iced lemonade, and the banh mi is noted as the popular takeaway. Staff are described as welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the place as small and a little cramped, with two tight tables and a window bar. Some note the food is made fresh by a family-run team, with a wait at busy times. The criticisms are specific. One reviewer found the spring rolls and BBQ pork underwhelming, the nuoc cham too sweet, and the herbs and spring onions lacking, and found them out of several items including ice. Another reports that a clerk met a celiac customer's menu questions with hostility, and the party left after ordering and received a refund.
