  “Absolutely love The Real Greek in Stratford. I am genuinely addicted to their Greek filo custard pie served warm with vanilla ice cream. It is easily my favourite dessert, and I now come back almost every week just to have it. The crispy filo pastry, creamy custard and cold vanilla ice cream are the perfect combination. Their halloumi popcorn is also to die for and an absolute must order. Highly recommend, and please never take the custard pie off the menu!”

  “We’ve been to The Real Greek several times before, but today we came with a small group to celebrate a birthday, and once again it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the whole visit. They made us feel very welcome, so a big thank you to the whole team. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. We’ll definitely be back, and there’s a good chance we’ll celebrate our next special occasion here too. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable!”

  “Food was good didn't take too long. Our server Marios was great, and sorted a minor food change for me. We got complimentary chocolate cake. Would go back.”

  “We had booked a reservation before a concert, very glad we did as people were getting turned away who hadn’t. It was very busy and so service was a bit slow. Food was great, menu was good. We was in the conservatory so had a breeze every now and then and noise level was quieter here than in main restaurant”

  “First time at a Real Greek & was pretty impressed. Really bad character trait but I'm a bit of a snob, going for independants & avoiding chains, but... Warmly greeted on arrival & the atmosphere was great (a relatively busy Friday lunchtime). Thought the mon - fri grill plate special was brilliant value. I had the loukaniko & also some meatballs as couldn't decide amongst the two. Both were excellent. Think I did better than my partner. He opted for the chicken but wasn't so impressed - he reckoned it was a bit dry & couldn't taste the lemon. Must admit, looking around the restaurant, the chicken did look the poorer of the dishes on offer but certainly can't criticise my sausage or meatballs. Also loved the crumbled feta on the Greek salad that came with the grill plate. Had a real decent taste & the other ingredients tasted fresh. Would definitely return as there's other dishes I want to try (just possibly not the chicken!). Also, mustn't forget a shout out to our server, Marios ...friendly and very attentive - faultless service (also he was a bit adorable but don't tell him that!)”

  “I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was decent, but the pricing was extremely misleading. I ordered chicken, chips and a Greek salad separately, and my bill came to £33.27 including one drink. What made this even more frustrating is that the exact same Chicken Souvlaki Bowl is advertised on Deliveroo for £11.95, and it already includes the chicken, Greek salad, a choice of chips/rice/salad, and even a dip. In the restaurant I had to pay for everything separately, and I didn’t even get the dip because I didn’t want to pay extra. The difference in pricing felt unreasonable and very poor value for money. I won’t be returning.”

  “I Hardly ever think to go Greek so popped in on a whim. Great menu and advice on how to choose. Food was perfect and plentiful without there being any waste. Well done. Poojitha was really attentive without being overbearing and made me feel confident, comfortable and informed as lone diner. She was great actually. I will come back… 🙏”
