The Taco House (Hackney) is a taco restaurant in London at 3 Succession Walk, beside the canal with a view of London Stadium. It is the home of London's first birria pizza, a taco pizza made with mixed chicken and beef and served as a sharing dish. All meats are halal. Seating spans the ground floor and a first floor. Taco Tuesday is offered.

Customer Review Summary
Birria is the draw here, with reviewers repeatedly praising the birria tacos as juicy, flavourful and saucy, and several pointing to the birria dip or sauce as a good match. The birria pizza, a mixed chicken and beef version, comes up close behind and is called delicious, though one reviewer calls it expensive. Also mentioned are the lemon pepper wings, loaded fries, and a Philly Cheese French Taco that one diner calls the highlight of the meal. Staff are described as friendly and welcoming, and the spot by the canal with a view of London Stadium and a games area gets praise, with a few noting it was quiet and chilled at off-peak times. Not everyone agrees on the flavour. One reviewer found the birria pizza and chicken tacos barely seasoned, the sauce unsalted and the chips saltless, and said the music on the ground floor was too loud to order over. Another was given a small bottle instead of a replacement pint when the drink was flat. Even so, the one reviewer who found the food bland still singled out the lemon pepper wings as the glorious part.

“These tacos were absolutely incredible! Seriously, the best I've ever had in my life. You can taste the love and passion these two Algerian brothers are putting in the work in the kitchen, every bite was bursting with amazing spice and flavour.”

“After a bustling mad hour or so in Westfield Stratford and checking out the Olympic Stadium we ventured down to The Taco House for drinks and then food around 4.30pm on a Sunday. So eerily quiet and chilled out down by the canal. Friendly and great service. Nothing too much trouble. Would we visit again- YES”

“🌮 Mexican Birria Taco with Pulled Beef – juicy, flavour-packed and perfect for sharing (or not 👀) 🍕 Birria Pizza Mix (Chicken & Beef) – a massive taco pizza loaded with soft, juicy meats. Ultimate sharing dish. 🍗 Lemon Pepper Wings – crispy with a fresh zing 🍟 Loaded Fries with Chicken – saucy, messy and ridiculously tasty The location makes it even better – right by the canal with a gorgeous view of London Stadium. There’s a games area so it’s the perfect place to eat, chill and hang out with friends.”

“Not a long wait to sit outside. I would definitely recommend when the weather is good. The drink was flat and instead of replacing the pint, the server just gave us a small bottle instead, which was a bit annoying. The food however was very good. We got the 3 birria tacos for £15 and they were well worth it. Very juicy, flavourful, and the perfect level of spice. The loaded fries were good too. Next time I want to try the birria pizza, unfortunately we were too full to try it this time. Will definitely return! (All meats are halal)”

“Had a fantastic meal at The Taco House at LVLS! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s a really nice spot right next to the water; it was quiet when we went since we were there quite early, but you can tell it has a cool atmosphere that would be absolutely amazing after dark. The food was great across the board, with big portions and excellent flavours: - The Pulled Beef Birria Taco was deliciously saucy and sloppy in the absolute best way possible. - The Philly Cheese French Taco was easily the highlight of the meal and the biggest surprise! Everything in it was perfectly balanced. Honestly, this with the side of chips would have been more than enough food on its own. - The Lemon Pepper Wings had a great balance of flavours, though unfortunately, I was already way too full to enjoy more than two of them! The cocktails were also lovely; super refreshing and a perfect accompaniment to the heavy, flavourful food. Highly recommend checking this place out!”
