  “JB, our server, was incredibly friendly and funny - he made our dining experience extra enjoyable. Vlad, was behind the bar, and recommended us a beautiful digestive shot called “Yuku Sake” - great service! Zoe took over table service towards the end and was very attentive and had a gorgeous Northern Ireland accent! Another gentleman was at the bar that evening (sorry, can’t remember his name!) and recommended an icy cocktail for my friend - she loved it! Thank you to everyone.”

  “Visited with a friend for the Lotus Lunch set menu (around £25 for two courses) which is great value considering the restaurants location and ambience. Efficient and considered service, tasty food, good wine and beautiful decor. I would visit again if in the area, highly recommended!”

  “Absolutely amazing experience at The Ivy Asia Mayfair! From the moment we arrived, the reception team gave us a warm welcome – truly 10/10. We then enjoyed a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and made the 10 minute wait fly by. It was such a lovely start to the evening. Our table was ready on time, and from there, everything continued to be excellent. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion and for taking beautiful photos. The only small suggestion I would make is regarding the menu. The food was delicious, but I would love to see a few more options for people who prefer dishes without sauces. I completely understand that, as an Asian-inspired restaurant, the menu is designed around those flavours, so it’s just a personal preference rather than a criticism. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I genuinely loved everything I tried. I would 100% recommend The Ivy Asia Mayfair and would happily come back again!”

  “I had an amazing experience at The Ivy London. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stylish and elegant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. The décor, ambiance, and attention to detail create a wonderful dining experience that is both relaxing and luxurious. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and prepared to perfection. The quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every plate were evident throughout the meal. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression. I would also like to give special thanks to Yash and Hamed for their outstanding service. They were incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Their warm hospitality and excellent recommendations made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable. The Ivy is truly one of those places where everything comes together perfectly—great food, a beautiful setting, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience in London, and I will definitely be returning.”

  “The interior of The Ivy Asia in Mayfair is an absolutely beautiful setting to enjoy a meal. There are fixed menus available for lunchtime and evening meals, or you can choose from the main menu. The food we had was beautifully presented and tasted great. Everyone working there seemed to be doing all they could to provide excellent service in what was a very busy restaurant. Any questions we had about the menu were helpfully answered by the waiters. The restaurant was spotlessly clean throughout, and both indoor and outdoor seating were available.”

  “Stunningly vivid decor, cute trinket pieces and statues which really elevate the unique vibe of the restaurant. Cosy seating, lovely atmosphere, super busy but we were well looked after by the attentive staff throughout our lunch. Food was a bit of a letdown for me personally, considering the high quality cuisine I was expecting. I was very excited to try the char siu pork belly having seen some of the rave reviews, but found my plate had quite large gristly pieces of meat, with the fat still unrendered. With time, the meat became quite tough and chewy, unpleasant to eat and couldn’t finish my plate. My friends on the same table who also ordered the pork, had a very different experience - smaller, more tender pieces of belly, with no gristle or fat; for the kind of restaurant and prices on offer, I was quite disappointed in the lack of consistency to the same dishes served. The nasi goreng was nicely flavoured, well-balanced with umami and a mild kick to it from the red chillis, as well as having that satisfying sticky rice texture; however, I did not feel it was particularly astounding, or something I would rush to re-order, or highly recommend. My friends also ordered the some of the salmon sushi, rainbow rolls, king oyster & shiitake gyoza, prawn dumplings, and chicken curry - all of which were commended as nice tasting dishes but nothing noteworthy. All in all, would recommend a visit at least to experience the vibrant and dazzling ambience, but still undecided on whether the food is really worthy to match up to the hype.”

  “Perhaps one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. The attention to detail in the interior design is stunning, including the bathrooms. The food is modern Japanese / fusion, we got the sushi/roll set for two and the sashimi quality was good (but London prices of course). I got a seasonal special cocktail that was kind of like a ginger beer - it was fantastic and tasted like real ginger, balanced with other flavours so it wasn’t overwhelming. My friend’s tea was also good. Just note that unless you are dining (I think getting full meals each), only bar seating is offered. I found this strange as the restaurant was basically empty when we visited for lunch. We liked the interior so we sat on the inner end of the bar. Apparently that’s where staff stand and chat, so we had to talk over the top of them and at other times, there was someone just standing right across from us. It would have been fine if the restaurant was packed, but was a bit weird when the area was otherwise empty and quiet. It just felt like we were being listened to and I could hear everything they were saying, although they were mostly speaking foreign languages. One of the staff didn’t make my drink properly and was reprimanded right in front of me - that also felt uncomfortable - at least take them aside? Or even better, let customers sit wherever they want when the restaurant is empty anyway. The seating restrictions just felt a bit unnecessary in the circumstances, it made me feel kind of unwelcome.”

  “I had a wonderful dining experience at Ivy Asia Mayfair. The service was absolutely lovely from start to finish, and the whole evening felt special. A big thank you to the managers, Stuard and Luiz, who were both amazing and ensured everything ran smoothly. Their attention and professionalism really stood out. Our waitress, Yullia, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after her warmth and attentiveness made a real difference. Overall, an exceptional experience with fantastic service. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.”

  “I recently visited The Ivy Asia with my friend, and overall it was a lovely experience. The drinks and starters were really good, full of flavour and a great way to start the meal. For the mains, we tried a variety of dishes with different meats and Asian fusion flavours. While everything was well presented, I’m not sure the flavours were fully to my taste personally. That said, it was still interesting to try something different. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight, the restaurant is beautifully designed, and I really loved the cherry blossom theme. It creates such a nice vibe for a special occasion. A special mention to Saliou, who provided excellent customer service. He was attentive, checked in regularly, and gave helpful recommendations throughout the meal. We were also pleasantly surprised with a mochi as complementary as we were celebrating, which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, a great spot for the ambiance, drinks, and service, especially for a celebration with friends.”

  “Visited The Ivy Asia today with my partner, sister, and brother-in-law, a visit I had genuinely been looking forward to for a long time. Sadly, this became our second attempt, first actual dining experience, and potentially our last. Our first attempt at St. Paul’s ended before it even began, having been turned away for being just four minutes late, despite calling ahead. I brushed that off, assuming Mayfair would redeem the brand. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The food was a mixed bag, swinging between moments of promise and deep disappointment. Steamed edamame was pleasant enough (7/10). The sesame prawn toast was tasty but overly greasy (7/10). The salmon & avocado maki roll was a real letdown, honestly, I’ve had better from Tesco (5/10). The kimchi kakiage suffered the same fate as several dishes: decent flavour, far too greasy (6/10). The Szechuan king prawns were enjoyable (7/10), and the barbecue duck salad truly stood out, fresh, balanced, and delicious (9/10). Gochujang glazed chicken followed closely behind (8/10). The lobster & duck fried rice sounded exciting but fell flat (5/10), while the steamed rice was stale and the chilli noodles were unpleasantly shoe-lace-like (1/10). The lobster rendang was rich and satisfying (8/10), and the robatayaki wagyu beef was good (7/10), though the condiments were a major disappointment and didn’t match the quality of the meat. Visually, the restaurant is undeniably stunning, the pink blossom trees and emerald-toned floors are breathtaking. Even the bold statue in the men’s toilets, while slightly intrusive, was undeniably cool. However, the service is where the experience truly unraveled. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive and only appeared when we were 95% through our meal, after repeatedly asking. Waiters wondered aimlessly & very inattentive. At one point, my partner began choking. I urgently asked a waiter for the water we’d ordered. Instead of responding with any urgency, I was told to wait, while my partner continued to struggle. The waiter then poured two out of four glasses, walked off with half an open bottle to do something else, and returned later to finish pouring the rest. That moment alone left us stunned. My sister is a strict vegetarian, and when a rice dish was placed in front of her, she asked if it was vegetarian. The response? “I think so,” before the server walked away. Completely unacceptable. To top it off, every single drink was disappointing. Should have pre-ordered it the day before… Alex, the manager, was understanding, and I appreciate that. Still, I left feeling genuinely deflated. This was a highly anticipated, bucket-list, iconic dining destination, and it failed to meet expectations on almost every level especially with dodgy tummies now.. I want to believe this isn’t the standard The Ivy Asia aims to uphold. The setting, the concept, and glimpses of the food show potential, and I truly hope this feedback opens the door for an invitation to return and experience what this restaurant should be. This ought to be a learning curve; the last table of the evening needs to be as good as the first table served of the day.”
