Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the food at Taste of Nawab, with the prawn starters and prawn dishes drawing particular praise. One diner lists the Lamb Shotkora with its citrus kick, Chicken Dopiaza, Onion Bhajee and Sheekh kebab as highlights, calling everything fresh and made to order. Close behind is the owner, described as a charming host who checks in on every table and makes recommendations to suit each person's taste. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive, and several describe the atmosphere as welcoming. Several mention that it is BYO with a good selection of soft drinks, and takeaway is described as popular. The one practical caveat is size: the room is small, and one reviewer suggests booking if travelling a long distance. Others describe a group of 14 being looked after, with the staff arranging a cake and candles for a birthday, and kids being accommodated too.

“Outstanding food is the best Indian in the area. We used to order for takeaway but eating in is another level. incredible friendly owner and they don’t hesitate to make recommendations according to your taste. It’s also BYO but they do have a good selection of soft drinks. Excellent value for money”

“Following throat surgery resulting in an inability to eat spicy food for 2-years, I ventured back to my all time favourite Indian and it was as good as ever. Exceptional food, great service and a small but pleasant environment, it was all I could hope for. Bonus of -30% discount during August was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend but it’s small so book if you are travelling long distance. Very popular for take away also.”

“Taste of Nawab is hands down the best! I love that their food is consistently amazing. Some places are awesome sometimes and then have mediocre food - but I've never had a bad experience here. The people as well - wonderful. Always so kind, always so generous, always a class act. They are our go-to and we love them! Highly recommend, 5 stars, without hesitation!”

“Came here as a group of 14 for my husband’s birthday. Treated like royalty and the food was delicious. The staff are very attentive and arranged a cake and candles for my husband. Also air con in the July heat was much appreciated!”
