Customer Review Summary
The complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer found the Ash served in a disposable plastic container, thick and tasting reheated. Another says the flavour only hints at authentic Persian cooking, the prices feel high, and the staff seem stern. A one-star review calls the food bland and the staff dismissive. A visitor on a quiet Saturday around noon found an empty room and a bell at the counter, with burger and baguette arriving wrapped in paper on a plastic tray, ready to take away.

“Amazing food and great service. The sandwiches were fresh, full of flavour, and made with quality ingredients. Friendly staff, generous portions, and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely one of the best Persian-style sandwich spots in London. Highly recommended!”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place genuinely deserves it. The food was absolutely awful, bland at best and borderline inedible at worst. Every dish felt poorly prepared and honestly quite off-putting. The atmosphere didn’t help either. It was uncomfortable, poorly managed, and just had an overall unpleasant vibe that made it hard to enjoy being there at all. What really made the experience worse, though, was the customer service. The staff came across as rude and dismissive, with no real effort to be helpful or even polite. Overall, a very disappointing experience from start to finish. I definitely won’t be coming back.”

“The food is largely in the style of Persian fast food. While it doesn’t quite capture the authentic flavour, you can still sense a hint of the original taste. Unfortunately, the prices feel rather high and somewhat overrated for what is offered. The staff also come across as quite stern and serious, which makes the overall atmosphere feel less welcoming than it could be.”

“I recently visited Caspian, an Iranian fast food place in Finchley, and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the Ash I ordered. Along with my other orders, I asked for a bowl of Ash, but what I received was served in a disposable plastic container with no presentation at all. It looked as if it had just been taken out of the fridge and heated up in the microwave. The texture was extremely thick, and the overall experience was really poor. I wanted to share this review so others are aware — the Ash was definitely not worth ordering.”

“Their special pizza and cheeseburger took me right back to my old days in Iran. Authentic, nostalgic, and incredibly delicious! Fresh ingredients, perfect flavors, and great service. Highly recommended.”
