Customer Review Summary
Dosas are the draw most reviewers return to, with the cheese masala dosa and the mini masala dosa platter singled out, and several describe them as light and crispy at the edges. Close behind is the Onam Sadya, called delicious and full of authentic flavours, alongside the onion uttappam and podi idli, which one diner found soft and well spiced. Reviewers also mention masala chips, mango lassi, masala chai and a lunch buffet they found good value. Many praise friendly, attentive staff, and one says a server walked them through the menu and made drinks herself. The main complaint comes from a two-star review: the samosa chaat served hot with heavy chickpeas and yogurt did not work, the masala mogo was gritty, and the masala dosa could have been crispier. That reviewer says the bill charged a higher price for a Kingfisher pint than the menu listed, despite a buy-one-get-one-free offer mentioned by the waitress, and wishes they had raised it at the table. Others describe being seated and served immediately even when the restaurant was buzzing.

“We went over to the restaurant for a relaxed lunch on Sunday. Food and drinks were amazing. Divya’s service was exceptional. She walked us through the menu, helped us pick the right dish and made some amazing drinks herself for us. This type of brilliant service is rare and we enjoyed our time at the restaurant. Thank you!”

“Had a lovely experience at Chennai Srilatha! We tried the dosa, onion uttappam, and podi idli everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The onion uttappam was especially soft and delicious, and the podi idli had the perfect balance of spice and taste. A special mention to Samyuktha for her excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for authentic South Indian food and warm hospitality!”
