Customer Review Summary

Shawarma wraps draw most of the praise, with reviewers describing the chicken shawarma roll as tasty and well-seasoned and a small lamb shawarma wrap as great meat served in a jiffy. Another calls the wraps loaded and full of flavor, and the chips crispy and perfectly seasoned. A vegetarian points to a falafel and halloumi wrap with chips, and several call the staff friendly and lovely, though one wishes the place opened later. The meat is where opinions split. One diner called the lamb doner rubbery, said the chilli and garlic sauce had no chilli and tasted like cream, and threw half away. Another found the shavings dry, pre-cut and bog standard, though the chilli sauce was nice and spicy. One regular who calls the food superb had an order made wrong twice and could not get through on the phone, but the staff then made the wrap exactly the way they liked it.

“Best shawarma in town! Everyone is missing out, everything is served fresh with amazing prices. Would definitely recommend trying this place.”

“Dont be fooled by the high rating like i was, this place is bang average. Nothing Shawarma about it, just bog standard cheap kebab meat. The shaving i got in my wrap were dry, pre cut from a tin. Ive got a stomach of steel but its felt dodgy ever since i ate it. All a bit strange because i went about 9pm on a Friday night where i thought theyd be at their prime. Only redeeming feature was the chilli sauce which was actually nice and spicy, probably homemade.”

“The worst lamb doner I have ever had in my life.I’ve been passing by this place for a long time, always thinking, I should try it one day. Well, I seriously regret it. The meat didn’t even taste like meat it was like someone had put pieces of rubber inside the wrap. I asked for chilli and garlic sauce. There was absolutely no chilli flavour whatsoever, and instead of garlic sauce, it tasted like they had poured single cream into it.I managed to eat half of it and threw the rest away. That’s how bad it was. Honestly, I have no idea how anyone can call this a good doner. If you think this is good, I genuinely wonder what kind of food you’ve been eating your whole life. Are you guys alright?! 😂 Absolutely terrible. Never again.”

“What can I really say , the food is absolutely superb . That’s why I keep coming back . The reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 for service is because my order was done wrong twice and because there’s seems to be an aparent problem with the landline/phone number when I was calling to address the wrong order . Needless to say it’s been a few days and because I work near the area I’ve asked for a refund or another wrap . They were indeed very attentive and they done me the wrap exactly how I liked it . Nevertheless the food itself it’s always superb , I’m just abit picky with food and tend to get icked out when certain ingredients are in and unable to eat it , but my flatmate loved it regardless !”
