  “Was really looking forward to this meal as the photos/videos looked great, but deeply disappointed by the lack of presentation. Seeing the fancy smokes and sushi boats online got me excited, not knowing that wouldn't be the case for my £33 sushi order - not sure which ones did or didn't as it wasnt stated in the menu. The atmosphere was the best feature overall, the food was OK. I would have preferred better presentation for this price point - specifically in the sushi order and the cocktail.”

  “Exceptional food, the best rolls I've had in my life, so fresh and light which is weird considering they serve them with wagyu beef. I don't think I can even fully appreciate how good they were. Presentation with dry ice - top scores again. Service was top notch, friendly and chatty but not in a fake way. It takes time to prep such a good food, but it's worth it. Restaurant looks stunning, newly refurbished, with character, comfy chairs. Music they play is great too. Location is a little hidden though, I've spotted pedestrians on the street looking up but my suggestion would be to place that sumo guy on the pavement, if possible, it catches eyes in a second. I can't say enough about this place, one of the best hospitality experiences in a very long time. Thank you for having me!”

  “Came here after a friend recommended it and honestly loved it! Such a cute interior and the food was so much better than I expected. The sashimi was super fresh, especially the salmon, and the wagyu sushi roll was unreal — literally melted in my mouth. Also really loved the grilled aubergine and tried fried oysters for the first time, which were surprisingly so good! Definitely recommend sitting at the sushi counter and watching the chefs work — such a nice experience. Also loved the yuzu and lychee sake. Would 100% come back!”

  “We came for a quick lunch. Although the price seemed fair, we weren’t overly impressed with the food here. One of the things we ordered was the yakitori. I expected freshly charred grilled chicken, what arrived was some lukewarm, seemingly pre-cooked-on-a-pan, chicken. The sauce and the flavour was fine if not on the salty side. What was even more disappointing was that the exact same chicken was served on the bara tori don! So I had double the disappointment 😆 I also ordered some soft shell crab sushi. It was a bit better than the yaki tori, but it also felt below par. And I would not recommend the tofu steak… Hope other diners enjoy more than we did.”

  “​Absolutely loved this spot! The food and drinks are as stunning as they are delicious. The hiramasa salad was exceptionally fresh and beautifully plated. Sushi chefs were so friendly and have pretty good service. Plus, Laura recommended me the best seller cocktail and it was refreshing. She was so kind and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be back!”
