Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food and the welcome together, singling out the Kabuli pillaw and the lamb sajji, with its soft meat and juicy chicken. Fresh, flavourful dishes and friendly staff who keep checking on the table come up repeatedly, and several name individual servers and a cook for their hospitality. One party of eight found two of the largest platters enough for everyone. A few mention that the seating is narrow, with floor cushions alongside tables and chairs, and one says quality has dropped a little. Two reviewers were disappointed with the starters and drinks. The mango lassi tasted like plain yoghurt, and the Chicken Malai Tikka was dry and tasted almost the same as the other chicken starter. Both report that staff dismissed the concern, saying the dishes taste alike because both are chicken and that lassi is made from yoghurt. One adds that a senior staff member laughed during the conversation.

“The food was okay overall, and the main course was nicely prepared. However, we were disappointed with the starters and drinks. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Malai Tikka, but both tasted almost the same, and the chicken was dry. The Malai Tikka lacked the juicy and creamy texture we expected. When we raised our concern, the staff simply replied that both dishes contain chicken, so they would naturally taste the same. We also ordered mango lassi, but it tasted almost entirely like plain yoghurt, with very little mango flavour. When we mentioned this, the response was that lassi is made from yoghurt. Unfortunately, the staff handling our concerns were not professional or understanding. Even when we spoke to a senior staff member, she did not take our feedback seriously and laughed during the conversation, which made us feel disrespected. Although the main course was good, the poor quality of the starters and drink, along with the disappointing customer service, made the overall experience unsatisfactory. We paid for our meal, but it did not feel worth the money. I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback more seriously and improves both its food quality and service.”

“Hello Today, my friends and I visited Pakhtoonkhwa, and unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The quality and taste of the dishes were far below our expectations. We ordered mango lassi, but it tasted like plain yoghurt with almost no mango flavour. For starters, we ordered Chicken Malai Tikka and Chicken Tikka, but both dishes tasted exactly the same, with no noticeable difference in flavour. When we raised this concern with a member of staff, we were told that both tasted the same because they were chicken. This is completely unacceptable, as these are two different dishes that should have distinct flavours. On top of that, the Chicken Malai Tikka was extremely dry and lacked the tenderness and flavour it should have had. The main course was equally disappointing. Overall, the food lacked taste, quality, and proper preparation. Not a single part of our meal met our expectations, making the entire dining experience a waste of money. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, despite raising our concerns, no one took the food quality issues seriously. We received no satisfactory explanation or apology from the staff. For a restaurant, food quality should be the top priority, but our experience was completely unacceptable. We came expecting a good meal but were left thoroughly disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. I strongly urge the management to review the quality, preparation, and consistency of the dishes being served. This is not the standard customers should have to accept when dining at your restaurant.”
