About Korean BBQ House Barbican
Korean BBQ House Barbican is a fully halal Korean barbecue restaurant in London, found at 107 Whitecross St, where diners grill their own meat at the table. The menu pairs Korean and Japanese dishes, so a table can combine the grill with noodle plates and rice-cake dishes. The classic beef grill mix covers the barbecue side, while cheese tteokbokki and udon noodles sit alongside it. Set menus are available, and vegetarian and vegan options run next to the range of meats. An unlimited deal is offered for the Korean BBQ. The restaurant is walk-in, with no reservation needed to be seated. A downstairs seating area adds a second place to sit.

Customer Review Summary
Grilled meat at this fully halal Korean BBQ draws the most praise, with reviewers calling the beef tender, juicy and marinated to perfection, and the classic beef grill mix lovely. Several enjoyed being left to grill their own meat. Close behind are the friendly, attentive staff, with a few diners crediting a waiter for helpful suggestions and another for taking care over a fish allergy. Cheese tteokbokki, udon noodles, mojitos and dessert also earn compliments, and one reviewer notes a good range of vegetarian and vegan options. The kimchi bokkumbap with beef arrived still sizzling, though that diner found the meal neutral, said soy sauce is needed for a saltier palate, and would skip the prawn dumplings in favour of the squid chunks. One reviewer recommends booking ahead because it gets busy, while another was seated quickly without a reservation. One says the downstairs ladies' facilities could do with another wipe. Two diners recall staff giving them a prayer mat and letting them pray in the downstairs seating area.

“We came without reservation, yet we have been seated pretty fast, despite the place being almost full. Classic beef grill mix has been lovely, same as the udon noodles and cheese tteokbokki. Our host Bilal has been very kind and helpful. Loved the experience! Recommend!”
