  “They’re the nicest people. Their food is fresh and good. Best frying batter ever- great portions and prices. They have saved my bank account several times. For the people hating on them for having no card machine, if you can’t be bothered to spend 1 minute transferring money then don’t bother and go somewhere else.”

  “I read both the positive and negative reviews before visiting, and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The fish was incredibly fresh, light, and flaky. Some reviews mentioned that it seemed a little undercooked, but I think that’s because fresh fish fried in very hot oil stays wonderfully moist and tender inside. It may feel slightly “soft” to some people, but it definitely isn’t raw. Absolutely delicious! And don’t skip the vinegar — it’s a must! 🤭🐟🍟”

  “I ate here for lunch one day in mid-May 2026. I ordered haddock with small fries, and the total was somewhere close to 20 GBP. It took about 10 minutes for the fish and potatoes to be fried, and I was served a piping hot plate with plenty of condiments, including ketchup, vinegar, tartar sauce and mayonnaise. The portion of fish was huge, so the price was justified in my opinion. I ate very well. If in the area, I will go back.”

  “Fish is freshly fried so you have to be prepared to wait about 10 minutes. Produce is fresh and if good quality. Cash or bank transfer only. No card payments possible. Enjoyed my meal here, thank you.”

  “Friendly staff and very tasty fish and chips but I knocked a star off because there was just too much of it for one person. I'd rather be charged less for a smaller portion, but there's a sign up saying "smaller portion will be the same price". For this reason I would go somewhere else next time. Also note it's cash only or bank transfer.”

  “Growing up in the Campden area in the 80s, I remember a lot more local fish/chippies. This is about the last of the traditional old school no nonsense places in the area. You get a massive amount of delicious chips and a perfectly prepared fish- crispy shell and fabulous moist fish. These boys have been doing this a long time. No frills seating, classic menu of a fish/chippy place. It is cash only and fish chips cost £13. Make a visit for the last remaining proper fish and chip location.”

  “Absolute gem of a place for fish and chips. Their cod fish is super soft and fluffy, the batter is crispy and freshly fried, and their chips are fresh and good. The chicken was okay, not as great as the fish but still not bad; tastes a little like Jolibee.”
