  “All great as almost always in my 6 years of experience with Charcoal. You can pay by card or cash now. Prices? See the pics… Recently it is more expensive as everything but still you can get x2 large chicken shish + large fries & x2 sauces for £30.- so no reason to complain about. Especially if you split it in two, as large means large in here. All is fresh and made in few minutes in plain view on site. Only mankament is waiting area with no place to seat that 10 min.”

  “I’m genuinely shocked at how bad Charcoal Grill has become. The prices have gone up, yet the quality has dropped to an unacceptable level. When I opened my kebab, the meat was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around for far too long. It didn’t taste fresh in any way. The sauce looked off as well and had a strange texture and smell that made me question whether it was still safe to eat. What made it worse was finding something inside the kebab that looked like a small dead insect. At that point, I lost my appetite completely and threw the entire meal away. I would upload a picture it it allowed me, whether it was contamination or a hygiene issue, the fact that it was even possible is horrifying. This place used to be cheap food, and even then the quality was questionable. Now it’s expensive and still terrible, which makes it completely unjustifiable. Paying premium prices for food that appears old, poorly prepared, and potentially unsafe is ridiculous. I will never eat here again, and I strongly warn others to think twice before spending their money at Charcoal Grill. There are far better places that actually care about food quality and hygiene.”

  “The man was very rude, felt as though he may dislike my ethnicity. Takes cash only but no sign saying so. Asked me to write down his bank details to transfer but the details didnt match. I was a little hesitant. He then snatched my phone when I said the details don't match and began select incorrect details. Let the shop feeling as though I was treated unfair because I did not want him to take my phone. He took back the food that I began to eat and told me "GO CASHPOINT THEY CHARGE". Horr8d place avoid avoid avoid.”

  “Decent chicken shish kebab and a nice chap serving. I got a large portion (two chicken skewers) for £9.80 - each skewer has a generous amount of chicken so one probably enough. Cooked it fresh while I was there. Salad could be better. N.B. Cash-only”

  “One of the best Kebab places in SE been going here for years and love the food. I also love the fact that they have so many size options with the kebabs so you can choose the size you fancy for yourself or to share. Staff are friendly, funny and engaging. Going back next week.”

  “Food Is amazing, I've been going for over 10 years. Great price for the size and quality. Just don't get robbed outside their place as they won't call the police or help you in any way as I assumed they don't want to rock the boat. Besides that, they are great people. Will keep going there for kebabs every now and then.”
