Customer Review Summary
The bao buns anchor most visits, though opinions split sharply: several call the pork belly buns exceptional, while others find the mac bao buns undersized for the price and the bao itself over-steamed and doughy. Close behind, the rotisserie chicken draws repeat praise for its flavour, and the tiramisu is singled out as fresh rather than defrosted, though the mushroom pasta and parpadelle earn mixed marks for being oily, lukewarm, or short on sauce. A recurring complaint centers on value: small portions paired with high prices, extra charges for parmesan or bread refills, and an automatic 15% service charge added even after poor service. Several also describe a chaotic or unwelcoming entrance, with no clear place to check in and staff who were slow to seat or rude when asked about waitlists. One reviewer reports being told by staff that ham was halal, a claim they found deeply troubling. When mistakes occurred, such as a wrong or salty order, staff were noted as accommodating in replacing dishes, though follow-up afterward was sometimes lacking.

“Food was so good 💯 and Edvin's service was amazing. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. We don't like matcha & Edvin suggested a drink with strawberry & mango. The drink was the best drink you can find. It was very refreshing & creative at the same time. We loved this place. The pasta was also delicious 😋, it was the pesto pasta. A very happy customer from UK and USA :)”

“We ended up at this lovely establishment on three separate occasions, each time was really good. Enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Great location and the large fans came in handy during this heat wave! The food was tasty and hit the spot for each of us. Would highly recommend to others.”

“We had dinner here and, unfortunately, a few issues with billing left a bad impression. First, when we asked to split the bill, the server flatly refused, saying “we don’t do that.” This made an already pricey meal more awkward to manage as a group. Second, and more concerning: a £7 service charge had already been added to our bill. When I paid in cash, the server never returned with my change. That change should have been mine to leave as an additional tip or take back — that decision isn’t the restaurant’s to make for me, especially when a service charge was already included. The food itself was very average. The shakshuka was horrendous, though the chicken baos were fine. Combined with the billing issues, it’s hard to justify the prices here. I’d think twice before returning unless things change.”

“Great service and food. Came to visit on a Monday evening so it was nice and quiet. It was my first visit here. I was torn between getting the steak or the rotisserie chicken. I usually lean towards the steak offering but I can’t help but appreciate a nice rotisserie chicken. My wife ordered the cacio pepe pasta. Both dishes were quite nice. The chicken was flavourful (the gravy brought a lot of moistness to the dish) We ordered some tiramisu for dessert that we thoroughly enjoyed alongside fresh mint tea. It tasted fresh, sweet and light. Not something defrosted 10 mins ago. I love the concept of the three businesses sharing one spot. It’s innovative and allows people to try an array of different items with a premium service (unlike something like a buffet) The customer service was without fault. We were tended to by the amazing staff and well looked after. I’d visit again”
