Customer Review Summary

Pasta emerges as the clear centerpiece, with reviewers repeatedly praising it as cooked perfectly al dente, from truffle pasta and tonnarelli with saffron and prawn tartare to cacio e pepe and saltimbocca. Close behind, the tiramisu draws consistent mentions as a standout finish, described by several as the highlight of the meal. Diners also point to the tagliere di salumi e formaggi and the wine list as strong parts of the experience, and service is repeatedly called attentive and friendly, with individual staff singled out by name in multiple reviews. That said, a recurring thread of disappointment surfaces around seasoning and consistency: one reviewer found the croquettes bland and the artichoke and orange salad underdressed, while another described mussels and clams in the seafood pasta arriving cold and tasting "not so fresh," and a third felt the veal lacked any accompaniment and left dissatisfied despite liking the pizza's crispness. Even so, most diners describe leaving feeling like they'd been transported to Rome, with several saying they'd return.

“5 of us had a great Italian in London. Went here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and we had a pleasant welcome with great food. The pasta was tasty and no one came away with any complaints. I saw another table and one of them had a huge Steak and I was very envy! I guess we got to come here again. Oh and the Tiramusi is superb :-) Thank you!”

“Came here for dinner. The tagliere di salumi e formaggi was good. Had a decent variery and the portion size was good. As for the tagliatelle al frutti di mare con sugo di pomodoro (seafood pasta), the shrimp was delicious and had a great sear and aroma from the pan. However, the seafood, particularly the mussles and clams, were already getting cold when it arrived, so there was a noticeable temperature difference from the pasta and it didn't blend with the sauce. Additionally, the mussles today had a bit of a strong fishy taste and didnt seem so fresh. Given the price the pasta was a little disappointing.”

“A great fine and authentic Italian restaurant in London. Delicious food, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I felt like I was in Italy... I felt at home. :) Thank you for your service guys!! Well done! Complimenti!! Torneremo sicuramente!”

“This is a great Roma-style Italian restaurant but was disappointed in flavour of some of the dishes. The starters and sides lacked flavour and were rather underwhelming. Croquettes were a bit bland in flavour and tasted mostly of cooked potato. Also got a side of artichoke which wasn’t seasoned and a salad with orange that lacked dressing. They do bring olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and paper so you are able to season it yourself but would expected something more interesting in flavour from those dishes. The pasta was great and perfectly al dente. The service was also lovely and attentive. We’ve also enjoyed the wine selection.”
