  “The pizza tasted great as great as it looked. I had a portion of olives on the side which were also very good, if you are an olive loved they won't disappoint. The aperitivo/drink (here a limoncello spritz) tasted okay, it was more of a gamble on my part as I don't usually have limoncello but I was plesently surprised. The staff was very responsive and friendly. Would recommend if you're feeling like having some pizza.”

  “Pizza was fine, but nothing special for the price. Staff were attentive (too much so in my opinion). Some Italians on the neighbouring table were annoyed by the waitress swooping to try and remove their half eaten salad. I was similar miffed but at least I managed to have picked up my last piece of pizza before the waiter pounced. Just leave it 10 seconds please! Note: 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill and they don't take cash”

  “Amazing pizza with a perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and plenty of cheese. Every bite was flavorful, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Great service and a cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're craving delicious pizza!”

  “What a great little pizza place, the food was amazing. The aubergine parmigiana and the meatballs were absolutely delicious, and it came with a side of fresh bread to scoop up all that tasty fresh tomato sauce. The pizzas were way authentic and full of flavour with good quality ingredients. The dough has the perfect balance of softness but also being crispy at the same time. The service was very good, the staff were really friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I found the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, and when compared to other pizza places. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys traditional Neapolitan-style pizza with good prices, great food and excellent service.”

  “I walked in tonight after a disappointing football match, just looking for a quick dinner, and ended up having a really lovely experience. The pizza was great, but a special shoutout goes to Marc, who looked after us incredibly well despite running the whole restaurant on his own during a pretty busy service. He stayed friendly, attentive, and calm the entire time, which honestly made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!!!!”

  “Impulse, walk in pizza. Looked small and welcoming. The manager obviously loves his job, he was delightful, funny, attentive. I’ve eaten alot of pizza in London over many years and this has to be up there with the best. Handmade, fresh and delicious. My partner had the margarita and I had Generro (anchovies, olives, capers etc) and opted for a spicy tomato base with scotch bonnet. Instead of a few chopped chilli’s the heat was infused through the pizza which was delicious. I tried one of their lagers and opted for a summer special infused with peach- as I write this is sounds odd- but in a hot night with a chilli Pizza was amazing. All in all brilliant.”

  “We came to Santa Maria Pizzeria this morning and were really happy to see the usual Italian pizza chef back again. The pizza was honestly one of the best we’ve had in London — perfectly cooked, amazing dough, top-quality ingredients, and everything made with real passion and experience. You can truly notice the difference when he is working. He is clearly very talented and well known in London for making authentic Italian pizza at a very high level. We also discovered that he takes part in pizza events around Europe, and by following him on Instagram you can see him travelling to different countries for pizza festivals and special events. That experience and passion really show in his pizzas. Last Friday we came as well, but unfortunately the pizza was not the same and we didn’t enjoy it very much because the usual Italian pizza chef wasn’t there. Today, instead, everything was perfect again. Big compliments to the chef — he really makes the difference and brings real quality and authenticity to this place.”
