  “Felt a little peckish on 22.07.26 evening and noticed pizza hut which I have not visited for many years. Thought I would give a try again. The service looked miserable, the table 19 was wonky and dirty, the lightbulbs in front were burned out and not replaced. Food menu was ok, many options. Ordered meat feast with filled crust. The pizza was horrible. It was tasteless and greasy. Looked like it was pan fried. The price and quality did not match and that was the last time I ever visit pizza hut.”

  “First time ever visiting Pizza Hut Piccadilly Circus and last time ever visiting a Pizza Hut. It was an absolutely awful visit and I’ll never return. As a loyal Pizza Hut customer for many years now I’ve notice standards gone downhill and having not been for a while, I fancied trying Pizza Hut Piccadilly Circus. This was a mistake. I didn’t think it possibly could be this bad, but it was. I visited at lunch on a weekday to take advantage of their advertised £13.99 lunch buffet offer and it was a complete shambles and a waste of money. Upon arriving I was given a bland and abrupt greeting, sat down and told to order on the screen. I was sat at a wobbly table which was squished and had no room because people kept bashing into the back of my chair adjacent to the salad bar when I was eating. I went to the screen and ordered which was quite easy, I was then free to go up and get the food. I got a plate and started with the limited selection of pizza available and they were mostly deep pan. Pizza Hut has been known previously and at other locations to offer deep pan and also thin crust to meet all tastes and requirements. I chose a couple of deep pan slices and they already looked a bit worse for wear having presumably been left out a while. The pizza available looked dull and poor in appearance. As soon as I had my first slice it was dry, chewy and tasteless - no surprise. I tried a couple more varieties but all the same so I thought I’d wait until more were cooked but none were. I then went up to the bar to tell the staff that there were little to no pizza options available including classics like pepperoni and margarita and that during a busy lunch service they should make some more. I then told them the ones there were tasteless and poor quality and they didn’t care. They then made a cheese only garlic bread pizza and told me the margarita was ready but it wasn’t a tomato and margarita pizza. Whilst waiting I tried the salad bar and this was awful, the sweetcorn tasted funny and wasn’t fresh and the salad selection wasn’t very good. I was absolutely shocked and this visit and only after having a few slices and experiencing dreadful customer service I just gave up. Having eaten a fair bit of the bad food, I didn’t ask for a refund but it was deserving should I have, because I’ve never had such a poor experience at a Pizza Hut in my life. I don’t think this is an isolated incident but more a reflection on the managed decline of Pizza Hut as a business and they’ve certainly lost me as a customer because of it. The pizza selection available wasn’t properly being kept warm by heat lamps or other technology which other branches use and the staff refused to make and told me they don’t do thin crust pizza either, extremely poor decision. It was just an awful visit and I didn’t even want to stay any longer so I just left and walked off, having paid at the start for my food. If I can encourage you to avoid this place then I’ve done my job because it’s not worth wasting your money on it, despite the enticing £13.99 lunch weekday buffet deal before 3pm. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Not only will I never return to this restaurant but I’m not trusting their brand or any of their stores any more and I’m going to voice my opinions on this visit to friends and family, actively discouraging them from visiting. It needs sorting out and fast! I feel the lack of compassionate and friendly service is because a lot of tourists visit and the staff don’t feel obliged to help or be polite but it’s a shambles here, don’t waste your money on rubbish service and poor quality, cold food.”

  “Barely any cheese on the 13 inch pepperoni pizza. We have had pizza hut before and it was nothing like this. There was 0 cheese pull. For 30£ it should be a lot better. The pizza was mainly bread and tomato sauce”

  “We recently visited the Pizza Hut restaurant at Piccadilly Circus in London and unfortunately the experience was far below what we expected from this brand. First of all, guests were made to wait outside in the cold even though there were plenty of empty tables inside during what should be peak hours, which made no sense and felt very inconsiderate. For a global chain, proper staffing levels should be organised so guests are not left standing outside, and if staff are short, customers should at least be invited in, seated and informed honestly about expected waiting times. For a bill of almost £100 for two pizzas, four drinks and one dessert, the value for money was simply not there. Pizza Hut is not a fine dining place, it is a fast‑food style family restaurant, so nobody expects luxury service – but guests do expect basic hospitality, reasonable waiting times and staff who seem engaged rather than bored or indifferent. From a brand like Pizza Hut, there should be a consistent global standard instead of leaving each location to improvise how they deal with customers in a busy tourist area. The food itself was also disappointing compared to what we know from Pizza Hut in Germany. The pizza had far too much tomato paste, which overpowered the flavour, and it felt like the cheese was reduced or saved on, which really affected the overall taste. For the price level in central London and for a well‑known international chain, the quality of the product should be much more consistent and closer to the usual Pizza Hut standard. Service throughout the visit was weak and lacked any real warmth. Some staff did make a minimal effort, but overall the atmosphere was more bored and uninterested than welcoming, which does not match the image Pizza Hut tries to present as a family‑friendly, guest‑focused brand. As paying customers, it is reasonable to expect to be treated with basic respect and attention when choosing a well‑known chain instead of a random side‑street place. In the end, this visit was not convincing, so the rating is three stars out of five. The location has potential and benefits from a strong brand name and a prime tourist area, but management really needs to address staffing, training and food consistency so that this restaurant meets global Pizza Hut standards and not just minimum tourist traffic expectations.”
