  “I was slightly disappointed having read all the great reviews about Clifford's, as our experience was mixed. Whilst the service was friendly, they were clearly understaffed and it was incredibly slow - we had to try and get their attention several times. The restaurant feels more like a bar and was very noisy with a few groups drinking. The food was quick once ordered and was fine - decent pizzas. No alcohol free beer or cocktails on the menu. The interiors are a little tired and need an uplift, especially the bathrooms... all in all, perhaps I am being harsh but we probably wouldn't go back.”

  “We can’t recommend this restaurant enough! We loved it so much that we went back the following night. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the cocktails are top-notch, and the pizza is is the best we've had in London. Our margherita pizza came out perfectly crisp, exactly how we asked for it. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home.”

  “Located in the basement, it is a very clean and cosy restaurant.Jemma,the chef, is very professional and full of energy.Every dish I had today was delicious, up to the highest standards of haute cuisine. Really enjoyed burrata,chicken milanese and double baked chocolate tart.The staff is very efficient,polite,clean and friendly. Really nice place for lunch,dinner and family gatherings. Highly recommended indeed.”

  “I recently visited Cliffords and immediately wanted to try their First Table offer. Initially, I wasn't sure if the place was open from the entrance, but it turned out to be a wonderful Italian restaurant in the basement. The ambiance was really nice. The staff were exceptionally attentive to allergens and were very polite and friendly. We were planning to order the arancini and meatballs, but our waiter informed us that the meatballs were a pork-beef mix, so we decided not to get them. The arancini was truly exceptional. We then ordered the mushroom pizza and buffalo pizza. We would have loved to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for hours, but unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry and had to leave. The kitchen team did an excellent job, and since we were the first customers of the First Table offer, they sent us Nutella donuts on the house. I must say, it was the best warm donut I’ve ever had. The cinnamon and orange zest created a fantastic aroma. Overall, it was an amazing experience.”

  “- their carbonara pizza is very delicious! - pumpkin soup is good as well - maybe you need a reservation before going there but you can also walk in ( I went here with no reservation and I was lucky that i can get a seat)”

  “We enjoyed the meatball appetizer and two main entrees! Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced and simply delicious. Another of our best food experiences visiting London.”

  “I enjoyed my visit to the restaurant. Good seating area. Very happy with my choice and I enjoyed the salad, my colleague ordered the pizza and that was also nice. Great location for casual meeting or business lunch.”

  “Lovely restaurant, service was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was quiet enough to talk and had a good vibe. When you look at the restaurant on the outside it looks closed but it's open and down the stairs. (Forgot to take a picture of the mains)”
