About Ecco Pizza

On Drury Lane, Ecco Pizza has served the area since 2004 with a menu that pairs Italian staples with burritos, sandwiches, and coffee. The 15-item menu centers on pizza and pasta, with the Pepperoni Pizza among the options, and lattes round out the coffee list. The entrance is step-free and wheelchair-accessible, making it straightforward for visitors with mobility needs to get inside. Reservations are recommended, though the format also supports takeaway and delivery for those eating off site. Hours run late into the evening, suiting a late-night stop after a show. The room keeps things simple, with a no-frills setting geared toward getting food out fast rather than lingering. The combination of pizza, pasta, and casual extras like burritos and coffee has stayed consistent since the restaurant opened in 2004.

Customer Review Summary

Pizza is the clear draw here, with reviewers repeatedly singling out the pepperoni pizza and praising generous toppings, a crispy base, and easy customisation, including gluten-free options. Several mention specific pairings that stood out, like the goat cheese and garlic pizza, a daughter's pasta on a family visit, and a quarter bottle of wine alongside a fabulous pizza for around £15. Value comes up constantly, with diners calling the prices unbeatable for central London and one group feeding a family of four for a Friday dinner before a show without complaint. Late-night hours also earn mentions, with one reviewer relieved to find hot food available at 11pm. A couple of reviewers note the space itself is no frills, down at heel with worn vinyl seats and plastic wine glasses, and one describes a wait since only one person handles the dough and one runs the oven during busy dine-in periods. Free garlic mayo and a big screen with air conditioning are called out as welcome extras by returning visitors.

We absolutely love this place! Great tasting pizza with gluten-free options, excellent staff, and outstanding service. Great latte. There’s also a big screen in the back and air conditioning, which makes it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! We come here every time we visit London.

My husband and I visited London a year ago, and I’m still dreaming about the amazing pizza I had here. We have traveled to NYC and Rome and there’s no pizza like this pizza. It’s my #1 pizza I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. I wish I could ship it to America. I would almost fly back just for this pizza again. 5/5

Right in the middle of London! No airs and graces just really good pizza, super fast, beers, desserts, and coffees at normal prices. Really a refreshing breath of fresh air for London!

The best pizza ever. This place is amazing and we will be returning. Family of four on a Friday evening needed feeding before a show. This was cheap cheerful and DELICIOUS. My daughter had pasta and the rest of us had pizza. Toppings were generous and free garlic mayo was a great addition. Well done!!👏

We needed to eat at about 11pm and this place was open and saved the day! We ate in and had two fantastic pizzas plus two soft drinks and the bill was £21 - incredible value in Covent Garden. It's no frills but great food and friendly service. We'd definitely visit again.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
