Quick info
About Homeslice City
Homeslice City is a pizza restaurant in London at 69-71 Queen St, built around wood-fired 20" pizzas baked in an oven that diners can see from the dining room. The half-and-half option lets two topping combinations share a single pizza, and pizza by the slice is also on offer for those who want less than a whole pie. Vegan guests can choose options made with vegan cheese and vegan chorizo. Daily specials change the line-up, and La Norma has appeared among them. The restaurant is large, and the team checks in on tables during the meal. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the huge, crispy, thin pizzas, and the half and half option is the feature they mention most, with combinations like curried lamb alongside aubergine with a cauliflower cheese base, or bbq brisket with La Norma. Close behind are the vegan choices, including vegan chorizo, a fennel sausage pizza and vegan cheese, plus the Corn, Chorizo and Coriander pizza, the Wagyu pizza and a simple margherita. Garlic bread and frozen pina coladas also get praise. Staff are described as friendly, helpful and attentive, and one reviewer liked the view of the pizza oven. The complaints centre on toppings: a few found them lacking, wanting more brisket and cheese, and one called the flavour just okay. One reviewer felt prices were high for the quality, was told there was no cutlery in the restaurant and saw the server walk off. Another found staff checking in too often to relax, and one found the seats hard. Several say the whole pizzas suit groups and solo diners.

“Not what I expected, but genuinely enjoyed their pizzas and toppings. Friendly staff, really well made and tasty pizzas, love that you can half/half all the crazy topping combos. Only gripe seats are a bit hard...”

“I haven’t been to Homeslice for a few years and I was so surprised at how much it’s gone downhill. It was £40 for the pizza and tip, and the quality didn’t match it. The toppings were lacking, flavours were fine - a little below average, yet still top london prices. Service was pretty poor - when I asked for cutlery I was told they didn’t have any in the restaurant, and then the server just rudely walked off! As a novelty it’s fine, but the I’d recommend any other pizza in London.”

“Quick, reliable pizza fix at Homeslice City! 🍕 Was running late to meet up with friends, though I wasn't even sure I’d manage to make it, so it turned into a quick in-and-out visit, but it definitely hit the mark. Garlic Bread: Top-tier—definitely grab this. Salami Pizza: Solid, fresh, and really tasty. It was unexpectedly quiet for peak lunchtime, though maybe Wednesdays are just like that! Because it was brief, I didn't get a full feel for the staff or overall atmosphere, but seeing those massive full-sized pizzas come out to other tables was enough to convince me to try and go back to tackle a something bigger!”

“Ordered half and half pizza - bbq brisket and La norma (from the daily specials). Both were good, nice crispy base, but toppings were slightly lacking. Could have been a bit more brisket and cheese. But overall a tasty pizza. Service was really good and attentive plus great frozen Pina coladas!”

“One of the most unique pizza places in London, with HUGE crispy and thin pizzas. Love that they do vegan options, they always have but now they also do vegan cheese which is great! Had colleagues try mine, especially the vegan fennel sausage one and they loved it. Highly recommend!”
