About Sapori D'Italia
Sapori D'Italia is an Italian restaurant at 129 Lee Rd in London, built around 18" wood-fired pizzas that can be split 50/50 with two toppings, so one pizza can carry two topping choices. The Burrata al Tartufo pizza is one option on that list. Starters include Arancini (Nduja e Salsiccia) and calamari, and the menu also lists panini and mini desserts such as profiteroles. Tiramisu covers dessert, and limoncello is offered as a shot after the meal. Tables are walk-in with no booking, and the restaurant takes large groups on the same terms. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the main draw, with the Burrata al Tartufo singled out by two diners who shared it as a main, one calling it the best pizza they had ever eaten. Others praise the thin, crispy crust with a wood-fired char, and staff who let a table split one pizza 50/50 with two toppings, though one pair found an 18 inch pizza too much for two. Close behind are the calamari and arancini starters, big fresh panini and the garlic bread. Desserts come up repeatedly, including creamy tiramisu, profiteroles and a pistachio and chocolate pudding. Delivery is described as arriving piping hot, but one reviewer had an order accepted and then cancelled two days in a row through Just Eat. Servers earn praise for wine and pizza recommendations, and a party of seven with children was seated straight away without booking. One table finished with a free limoncello after paying the bill.

“2 days in a row this place has accepted the order then cancelled it later on. Don’t advertise on Just Eat if you’re just going to cancel orders. Waste of time.”

“A lovely meal, without booking, today, for 7 of us, including children. Generous portions, but not too large, got seated straight away. Very good food, and kind staff. 4 stars for atmosphere only because we were the only ones in there. People are missing out!”

“Have eaten in but because we have young children, it sometimes easier to get delivery from Deliveroo and we have just had this for dinner and it is honestly outstanding. The food arrives still piping hot, the freshest pasta and the sauces the garlic bread is out of this world! I have just had pistachio & chocolate pudding and it is honestly one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend this place will be during a review of it also on my social media.”
