About Canto Corvino
Canto Corvino is an Italian restaurant at 21 Artillery Ln in London, a few metres from Spitalfields Market and Liverpool Street. The menu centres on classic Italian cooking, with Tiger Prawn Arancini as a starter and Carbonara among the pastas. The pasta is freshly made and the stocks are made in house. An open kitchen has a window onto the chefs, so diners can see the cooking underway. The Wine Cellar private room seats up to 24, which gives groups a space of their own for business events and private celebrations. The restaurant can also be hired as a whole venue for weddings, birthday parties and corporate events. Lobster ravioli is among the pasta dishes.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the arancini, praised as a standout starter, with the carbonara topped with freshly shaved truffle, the lobster ravioli and the monkfish spaghetti close behind. Steak cooked to a true medium-rare and the prawn pasta also draw praise, and the tiramisu and cheesecake get mentions for dessert. Service is widely called welcoming and attentive, with several describing a friendly waitress and a private dining room that suited a birthday. The main criticism comes from one reviewer who found the tiger prawns and salad leaves not very fresh, and the rabbit tagliatelle and zucchini fritti "too normal" for the price. Another reported a waitress spilling water twice without an apology, plus a mocktail charged at full price when a discount had been promised. The general manager responded personally, and the overcharge was refunded, which led that reviewer to raise the rating.

“This was our second time at Canto Corvino, and it confirmed everything we loved the first time. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, such a refreshing experience. The service was warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly looked after throughout the evening. And the food was absolutely delicious. It’s one of those places where you can feel the care, not just in the food, but in how they treat people.”

“We had an amazing night in the private dining room, food was top notch and the service we received from Toni was perfect. Would definitely come to this restaurant again, I want to try more dishes off the menu. Thank you for making my birthday an unforgettable experience”

“This is our favourite Italian in the whole of London & the UK for work meetings, family dinners and date nights and we have eaten in many top restaurants. We especially love to take our kids here for beautiful quality food. It is truly authentic home cooked Italian food with so much heart. The chef last night was so talented and engaging with our kids and cooked them amazing meals. Adam is so proud of the food they create and is so passionate about the restaurant and the organic and authentic ingredients including freshly made pasta and homemade stocks- everything from scratch- and he is the perfectly attentive but not intrusive host. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic, I love the bar area which channels a touch of Cecconi's stylistically and the kitchen in the restaurant which adds to the visual experience. Tucci would be proud of Adam and the chefs here and they deserve to be famous! Also the lobster ravioli was absolutely life changing according to my hubby and my carbonara with freshly shaved truffle was a truly heavenly combo!”

“Didn't love the starts but the mains were delicious. We had the prawn pasta and chicken which were both really good. The wine was lovely too. And you cannot fault the service, they were excellent 👌”

“Updated: Rating Adjusted Based on Management's Excellent Follow-up Thank you to General Manager Adam for his personal response and sincere apology. He offered no excuses for the service lapses (two water spills) and billing error, assured that the team has been briefed, and proactively arranged a refund for the overcharged £5. While the initial experience was disappointing, a restaurant's true value is shown not only in its food but also in how it handles mistakes. Adam demonstrated top-tier customer service in damage control, and this responsible attitude is highly commendable, making me believe they are committed to improvement. I must reiterate that the food was truly excellent, and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. In recognition of management's sincere efforts to address the issues, I have decided to raise my rating to 4 stars. I hope future guests will have a more consistently perfect experience. Good food but Bad experience. Spillage for once is acceptable, spillage for twice without apology is unacceptable. First time the waitress spilled the whole glass of water on me and my crotch was all wet:) fine, it happens and I can give allowance. Almost finish meal, nice that you top up some water but spilled on the floor with splashing to me legs you thought I didn’t know? And didn’t say anything and go away. Then this was not so okay. I don’t want to give you hard time so I chose to write here. Plus the bill is not so right. I don’t drink alcoholic drinks so I ordered mocktail, asked your colleagues if mocktail also can enjoy 50% off and he asked n came back to say yes, only except the luxury serves. My bad i didn’t ask when receiving the bill, my passion crush is full price? Food was really good, steak was so nice and really did it at medium rare. But I would only rate 2 stars for the above experience”
