About Enoteca Super Tuscan
Enoteca Super Tuscan is a very small Italian restaurant at 8A Artillery Passage in London, where bar seating lets guests watch the Italian chefs cook. The menu changes with the season and centres on fresh pasta, including tagliatelle and a truffle tagliolini. Burrata comes with fresh Italian tomatoes and basil. The wine list leans Italian, with a focus on Tuscan bottles. Soda is the only non-alcoholic drink on offer. The restaurant opens Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner, and it is closed on weekends and bank holidays.

Customer Review Summary
Pasta draws the most praise, with reviewers singling out fresh tagliolini with truffle and a ragu with wild boar they call truly Italian. Wine runs close behind, including a Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon. Others name the burrata with fresh tomatoes, a bruschetta trio with a mushroom favourite, an aubergine stack, and sausage and lentils. Staff and hosts are called welcoming and friendly, and a few enjoyed the bar seats facing the chefs. One reviewer says the room is very small and advises reserving. Two reviewers found the bruschetta and mushroom tortellini just OK, and desserts like cannoli and salted caramel gelato were called basic. One found the swordfish unpleasant and returned it, and another says non-alcoholic options stop at soda. One reviewer reports an order containing an allergen, though staff were very apologetic. Another describes tagliatelle with uneven heat that was taken back and replaced with different meat.

“Finest Florentine cuisine. Beautiful selection of carefully sourced wines. Nick and his team are wonderful hosts. Great experience!!”

“I had the fresh tagliolini with truffle and it was divine! The bruschetta trio was delicious but my favourite was the one with mushroom. The aubergine stack equally good! We had red wine Campo Alle Comete - very nice wine, a good Cabernet Sauvignon made in Tuscany and I had not had wine in a year and I did not feel any heaviness that sometimes you may get with red wine. The prices are very reasonable for London especially now where everything seems to be so expensive everywhere especially for the quality of the food and wine you get here, which is high quality food! Ambience was cozy and relaxed! I would highly recommend it for a chilled evening with your friends!”

“Really cozy and intimate. Fantastic food. Best sausage and lentils I’ve ever had! Staff were amazing. There were a few mishaps with my order containing something I was allergic too but they were super apologetic. The pasta was perfect, although I wished the ragu was cooked just a bit longer, the meat wasn’t as tender as it could have been. The desserts were disappointing and super basic. Had the cannolis and salted caramel gelato. They do not do non alcoholic moctails or carry anything non alcoholic other than soda which was a little disappointing but fine. I would definitely return despite the mishaps.”

“This is one of London’s true hidden gems, tucked away in a gorgeous passageway a stones throw away from Liverpool Street station this location is everything! The interior is stylish, whilst maintaining a welcoming and most importantly comfortable dining experience. Having dined at the bar previously these seats are super cool as a more immersive experience. I can’t do the food justice with mere words because each dish hits every one of your senses! Your eyes are drawn to the vibrant colours of the fresh Italian tomatoes, contrasting the smells of the fresh basil and the textures of the freshest Burrata in town - it is a gastronomic experience start to finish. I’d like me Italian wines aren’t your speciality I highly recommend asking Simon for a recommendation - speaking of the hosts for your experience these guys live, breathe, sleep and eat this restaurant! They are the life blood that makes this place so special - and keep us coming back even now that we’ve moved to Australia! If you think you’ve had good food, think again until you’ve had the Enoteca Super Tuscan experience!!!”

“The second bite of the so called Fresh Tagliatelle of £25 WAS COLD (pic1). The entire plate comes with different heat of the pasta super weird. I never had such disappointing pasta being someone who tried countless great italian restaurants in London with an Italian bf. My first thought was IS THIS FROM THE FRIDGE & being heated up? They took it back and told me they have added different meat (pic 2) to calm me down. Btw this pasta was ready in less than 5 mins as I remembered I ordered around 8:05pm and still settling my bags down. It is not the place to go for authentic good Italian for the price. I left at 823pm. The ££ pound sign needs to be changed to £££ as it is not acceptable IF this is microwaved straight from the fridge & called it fresh Pasta.”
