Customer Review Summary
Butter chicken is the dish reviewers name most, with diners describing tender, juicy meat that did not taste pre-cooked, and a group of students enjoying it alongside the prawn biryani. Close behind are the lamb gosht with pilau rice and garlic naan, the thali, and the prawn starters. A mango lassi and a first falooda also get mentions. Reviewers repeatedly describe authentic, home-style food at reasonable prices, in a large, comfortable room run by a friendly family. The complaints are specific. One diner found the chicken biryani short on flavour, called the food average at best, and said the restaurant is so loud that conversation is hard. Another notes the family is a bit low on staff, so service is not quick, though other reviewers call it friendly and quick. One reviewer who has returned twice calls the lunch deal unbelievably tasty, with a drink included and a choice of chicken or lamb.

“I came twice now. You must get their lunch deal, it was unbelievable tasty. Drink included and they let you choose chicken or lamb. Nice and quick service!”

“Gorgeous authentic Indian food, which is so hard to find in London restaurants these days! Run by a family, all very friendly and conscientious. It leaves them a bit low on staff so don't expect service to be quick, but if you're not in a rush it's a good place to go, in small or large groups. All the dishes were delicious, as was their mango lassi. 100% would go again and recommend to all the aunties and uncles.”

“I visited with a few students from the US. The food was so beautifully made. We shared starters and mains and naan. The prawn starters were beautiful. The students really enjoyed the butter chicken and the prawn biryani. I would definitely recommend a visit for good Pakistani food. My colleague really enjoyed her first falooda. The food is lovely and the service is very friendly.”

“My first time visit here. I’ve seen that there’s mixed reviews. I am someone who has tried multiple Indian restaurants across the UK and I can confidently say when places lacks authentic taste in dishes I will know and this place doesn’t. We ordered the butter chicken and lamb gosht alongside pilau rice and garlic naan. The meat on both dishes were tender juicy and did not taste stale or pre cooked for a long time. The spices were there. The portion size was reasonable and great. The prices compared to other restaurants in london was extremely well. The service was great not slow and the place felt like you were at somebody’s house in a way which I quite liked it. It’s not dated just normal high ceilings which I preferred it cause usually you leave a restaurant and have the smell on your clothes and in this instance you didn’t cause the restaurant had appropriate ventilation and the sizing. I will definitely come here again. If your craving good affordable Indian restaurant nothing too fancy perfect for a quick dinner with your friend or family then it does the job.”
