“Beautiful food and good value for money but having said that, the lamb biryani needs to have a bit more meat in it not just 4 pieces.. Half of the rice still remains after eating it.. needs atleast 7 or 8 pieces of meat to be a decent filling meal. The chicken biryani is very nice and filling. Stop being stingy with the meat brothers then you'll get more customers.. I understand the cost of everything is very high but you wont gain new customers and keep them if you are tight with the meat. Thanks.”

“No one seems to care about the quality of the food. We found silver paper in the food. After eating it, I ended up vomiting. I’ve decided not to visit Charminar Restaurant again because hygiene standards are not being maintained properly. If this happens again, we will report the matter to the Food Commission. Thank you.”

“The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. The staff member who served us, the one wearing a black round cap, was very unprofessional and came across as rude. Customer service should be friendly, respectful, and welcoming, but that was not my experience. Someone with that attitude is not well suited to a customer-facing role. In addition, the mango juice was disappointing. Considering the price, I expected much better quality and taste. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the customer service, because the food itself deserves praise.”

“Worst veg biryani I ever had, there was sweetcorn in the biryani 🤷🏻‍♀️ no traces of aloo at all and the waiting felt like an eternity also the ambience was shit, don’t bother coming with your family if you need a seperate area for family seating”

“Absolutely appalling. I explicitly asked whether the biryani was fresh. I was clearly told yes — only to get home and realise I’d been handed stale, leftover food. So either the staff have no idea what they’re serving, or they simply don’t care enough to be honest. Frankly, neither option is acceptable. The level of carelessness here is staggering. Serving old food while confidently assuring customers it’s fresh is not just lazy — it’s downright irresponsible. Unsurprisingly, I ended up feeling unwell after eating it. If this is the standard being maintained, then basic hygiene and food safety are clearly afterthoughts. I will be raising this with the local council and food safety authorities because this kind of negligence should not be tolerated. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place unless you’re happy to gamble with your health.”

Customer Review Summary

The complaints are about the details. One reviewer found the lamb biryani had only four pieces of meat with half the rice left over, and another said the veg biryani had sweetcorn and no aloo. A diner called the chop hard and dry and the kabab a fried frozen one. Service draws mixed comments, with some calling the staff friendly and others rude or uninterested, and one said the mango juice disappointed for the price. Another disliked the atmosphere and wanted a separate family seating area.
