Quick info
About Royal Nawaab Ilford
Royal Nawaab Ilford is an Indian buffet restaurant in Ilford, on Unit 6 Clements Rd, open daily and serving halal food. The buffet runs from starters to mains and desserts, with charcoal grills alongside dishes such as seekh kebabs and chicken karahi. Pani puri is made fresh to order, and the spread pairs Indian and Pakistani dishes with English items like pizza, chips and nuggets. The site also holds high-capacity wedding suites and corporate event spaces, so the same venue handles large celebrations and business functions. A private dining room gives groups a space of their own. Weekends get crowded, and a time limit of around 90 minutes is informally enforced. There is no parking outside the restaurant.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints are smaller but specific. One reviewer found staff storing and moving equipment in the dining area while guests ate. Another notes drinks cost extra and says management politely asks diners to leave after roughly 90 minutes. A parent felt the kids' price was steep for children who barely eat, and one visitor mentions paying for a nearby multi-storey car park. Several suggest trying a little of everything, and one reviewer says the spread left them wanting to sample more dishes than they could manage.

“The food was very nice. Variety of selections and choices. Desserts were very nice as well. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful atmosphere and nice waiting area. Kids price I would say is a bit expensive as they don’t really much. However would recommend this place.”

“We came here for a family dinner. Nawaab has always been our go to place for family dinners. Been here many times since it opened up and it has always been a pleasant experience. The staff is courteous, polite and friendly. Raza was serving us today and he provided us with good service. The best thing about them is they are always introducing new food items. We had dynamite wings and peri peri fries today which was new and a really good addition.”

“I really enjoyed their food. It was like millions options to choose from. I came from Sydney on a two week visit and once I found Nawab, I visited twice. I was so excited to see so many options. I am also thankful to Obaid who was checking my experience and recommended some good options.”
