Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the authentic Kerala and South Indian cooking, singling out flaky parotas with a rich mutton curry alongside masala dosa, uzunu vada and undampori. Several describe a filling breakfast deal with a homemade taste and tasty masala tea, and portion size and value come up repeatedly. One reviewer calls the kotthu and lappa a must try, and another likes the veg stew while finding the appam disappointing. The sharpest criticism concerns service and consistency. Several describe a rude or dismissive person at the till, and one says an order arrived with items missing and soup with raw onions and capsicums. Another found the biryani rice very hot but the chicken pieces cold, and was told to take it up with the chef. One reviewer calls the breakfast buffet thinly stocked. A takeaway tea customer asked twice for a cup holder while pushing a stroller, was refused, and watched the tea spill, then was charged extra for drinking it inside.

“The food quality is average. I wouldn't recommend the appam, but the veg stew is good. Some items are worth the price, but the overall quality could be much better. The customer service and staff interaction were very poor. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.”

“I would like to raise a complaint about my recent experiences at your restaurant. For the past five days, I have been purchasing takeaway tea from your restaurant. On two occasions, I requested a cup holder because I was carrying a young child in a stroller. The staff member at the till refused to provide one, and as a result, my tea spilled. I do not understand why such a simple request could not be accommodated. A few days ago, I also had the breakfast buffet. The food selection was very limited, with insufficient sweets and other items available. When I asked about it, I was given some sweets in a takeaway container, but the overall buffet experience was disappointing. Yesterday, due to the heatwave, I decided to sit inside the restaurant and drink my tea. Today, I was charged an additional 25p. When I asked why, the staff member told me it was because I was drinking the tea on the premises. I had even disposed of the cup myself. I do not understand why I was being told where I could or could not drink my tea after purchasing it. Most concerning was the behavior of the lady at the till. When I politely asked questions about these issues, she became rude and dismissive. I felt that she spoke to me disrespectfully and used inappropriate language. When I requested the owner’s contact details, she refused to provide them and instead gave me her own number. I would appreciate answers to the following: 1. Why are takeaway customers refused a cup holder when requested? 2. Why was the breakfast buffet poorly stocked and supplemented with takeaway items instead? 3. Why was I charged an additional 25p for sitting inside, and where is this policy displayed? 4. Why was a staff member allowed to speak to a customer in a rude and disrespectful manner? 5. Why was I refused the owner’s or manager’s contact details when I requested them?”
