  “Purchased a hamper as a gift for friends. There are some great suggestions on the website but I I wanted to add some additional items. A member of staff called Dylan helped me with this and made some great recommendations with clear costings. He was also able to accommodate a fairly last minute delivery request and offered a handwritten card with the package, which was beautifully wrapped. It was so refreshing to be able to provide FRESH items in a hamper too, rather than the usual jam, crackers etc. The gift was very well received and I will be sure to use their hamper service again if the opportunity arises.”

  “I had a genuinely shocking experience at this deli. The sandwich I purchased contained two long, thick strands of hair, which is completely unacceptable for any food establishment—especially one that charges the highest prices in the area. When I brought it back, the manager was barely apologetic. I spent another £16+ on coffee and a few other items, and I asked if she could simply remove the sandwich from that total. Instead, she insisted on processing the refund separately and wouldn’t allow me to do it the straightforward way. On top of that, despite the inconvenience and the wasted lunch, they didn’t offer so much as a replacement coffee or any gesture of goodwill. I wasted time going back and forth because of a hygiene mistake they made in their own kitchen. The customer service here is consistently poor, and the staff often seem indifferent. What makes it even more frustrating is that the prices keep going up, yet the service keeps getting worse. Even the coffee is hit-or-miss, which is surprising considering how much they charge for it. For such a popular deli with premium pricing, the lack of basic hygiene, consistency, and courtesy is extremely disappointing. I used to come all the time but I definitely won’t be returning. I have attached photos/video of the strands of hair that made me feel so sick.”

  “Really lovely local deli. Serving cheese, meat, homewears, cooking equipment - eveything you could want really! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee & sandwiches were delicious. I struggled to choose which sandwich to order. Fresh pastries too!”

  “Cute little deli and take away coffee and snack place. All sorts of mouth watering goods on offer. The coffee was excellent. We had a club sandwich too which was very nice. There's a selection of pastries and sweet treats too. They have a couple of small tables and chairs outside.”

  “Delicious and filling egg sandwich with thick bread. Cute little store with many unique food items. Portuguese egg tarts are good but a little too sweet. Coconut macarons are very sweet but taste divine. Will come back for sure!”

  “We were lucky to find it accidentally on a sunny Sunday, and as we were a little bit hungry, we sat for a small snack. We had a quiche a pie and a babka! All of them were super fresh and delicious. I found them a little bit pricey but they were fresh so in the end I didn't mind!”
