About B Street Deli
B Street Deli is a deli at 88 Bermondsey St in London that serves cocktails alongside its charcuterie, sandwiches and bakery items. The drinks list runs to an aperol spritz, a spicy margarita, a paloma and a Bloody Mary, so a drink can sit next to a charcuterie board or a cheese and meat sharing platter. Sandwiches and focaccias cover the lunch side, with salads, including roasted salads, on the same counter. Sweet and savoury pastries and desserts sit in a glass counter-front. Wine and coffee are both on the list. The deli is walk-in and occupies a small corner space with high seats indoors. Flowers mark the entrance.

Customer Review Summary
Charcuterie and cheese and meat sharing platters draw the most mentions, with one reviewer calling the charcuterie plate a favorite and another enjoying a platter at breakfast. Close behind are the salads, including a potato salad and roasted salads, along with focaccias, pastries and sandwiches from the glass counter. Reviewers also praise the wine list, naming Malbec, and the drinks, from a spicy margarita and a paloma to a Bloody Mary that one called a good recovery. Many describe the place as quaint, rustic and cozy, with fresh, flavoursome food, and several like sitting outside on the street. The caveats concern service. One reviewer waited a long time, had to ask twice for the drinks and the charcuterie board, and felt the board looked like a joke for what was paid. Another was made to pay in advance and was told it was policy, while other tables paid afterward. Others praise welcoming staff, and one notes a hot chocolate made with real chocolate.

“The waitress made us pay for our order in advance. When asked, she said it was because that is their policy. Everyone else paid after they were done eating/drinking. If you are going to profile your customers, at least be forthcoming about it.”

“Cute cafe -food and service were great. The price was reasonable. The neighborhood was hopping and fun also. I wish we would have spent more time exploring places like this to eat rather than Piccolono and Butchers Wharf. So much more authentic and better food.”

“I like this deli! It’s my fav each time I go to Bermondsey Street. They sell nice food, salads, snacks, cheese, meat, chicken, sandwiches, deli and other stuff! The selection of wines is realy good and tasty. The deli is in a nice corner, you can sit outside and have nice food. I specially like their potato salad, and have tried couple of others. They also sell bakery and desert so they are a nice spot on the way. The atmosphere is nice, service is good, food is delicious and you enjoy the street view if you sit outside. Price is a bit high but reasonable and you receive good quality. Highly recommended! Edit: Went B Street Deli again! And they are amazing!”
