  “Stopped here for a light lunch on our walk along the side of the Thames. It was busy but we found a table and had great fresh food - selection of hot food served from the counter as well as sandwiches and pastries. Service was excellent despite how busy it was.”

  “The almond croissant was excellent - crispy on the outside, with plenty of frangipane on the inside - and the coffee was very flavoursome. At over £10 for these items, Corner Shop is at the pricey end of the London spectrum. Is it worth it? You decide!”

  “Always visited for the juices and quick grabs for takeaway. Always busy during lunch hahah. Had some time so sat in and really good service and tea!!! Thank you to Josh for making our time extra special ✨”

  “We were here for the chocolate cake, this place is really cozy and brilliant, good to seat outside in sunny day. Sandwiches looked great but we didn’t have it, would try them next time! There are also gelato and sourdough to have!”

  “The café has a modern, trendy vibe, which I really liked. That said, the food didn’t quite match the price. Scrambled eggs were just okay, and the tea tasted overwhelmingly like lemon juice. The grocery prices are even more unreasonable.”

  “We chanced upon this place while walking along the embankment and I’m so happy we did. This grocery store / cafe / deli counter concept is quite popular and successful in the US and the owners of the Corner Shop have copied it pretty well. The place offers high quality fresh food and pantry items and a delicious deli counter and coffee shop. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the food/drinks are absolutely amazing (we had the smoked salmon bagel, the roasted aubergine and the fennel salad and they were all very tasty).”

  “Surprisingly, I do think the chocolate salted caramel cake is worth the hype. It's only available after 3pm on weekdays and after 12 on weekends. I got there at 2.47pm on Monday and there was already a queue of about 20 people. At 3pm they started serving the cake and I got to the front at 3.15pm. I think I heard them say they were already running low on slices by the time I finished paying. The chocolate cake is well balanced with the dark chocolate and the whipped salted caramel filling and the sponge was light and moist. The bakery's own chocolate chip cookie was great, but the chocolate too bitter for me. I would go again to try their other items, and I recommend trying the cake if you can be bothered to wait for 30 mins.”

  “super cute trendy place that reminds me of common supply in sydney. i ordered the almond croissant which was beautiful. the pastry was perfectly laminated, golden, crispy and filled with a beautifully rich and dark frangipane. personally i would’ve liked a touch more frangipane on top but honestly this style is a nice change and is still amazing! service was quick and there’s also free still and sparkling water for tables which is amazing.”

  “If you’re in Central London, right in front of Temple Station, you’ve got to stop by Corner Shope! Their almond croissant is unreal — perfectly flaky on the outside, soft and rich inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. The rest of the pastries are just as delicious, and the coffee is always spot on. Such a great little breakfast stop — definitely worth it if you’re in the area! 🙌☕”

  “Really nice spot for brunch or coffee! Our highlight were the jummy breakfast, the hot coffee and the fresh fluffy pastries. The staff were super friendly, and the space is big and open, though the atmosphere feels a bit on the cool side. One of the best things is being able to see into the kitchen upstairs—it’s such a fun detail. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but everything tasted great and fresh. The flowers and deli items especially looked beautiful and well-kept.”
